If you prosecute someone and make allegations & give your evidence then it should not take this long for the court to draw a conclusion.

There's something just not right.

Pointless - he is in jail anyway, so these sentences mean nothing.

I have no sympathy with the kind of politics this man represents.

I support the idea of an international court for trying war crimes - these crimes should not go unpunished.

HOWEVER, to be justice, justice must be much faster than this - the trial is taking TOO LONG.

This is absolutely outrageous.

They cannot convict him of anything else other than contempt of court.

Why don't they put him on parole so he can live until he is found guilty.

I would have gone insane by now having my liberty taken away from me.

Just like the Germans captured & took 11 years of my Grandfathers life and liberty away from him.

Disgusting!!!

Since you've spent long years to find something to oppose to this man, which I don't specially like, it's the last resort this court found to continue to keep him in prison for to not disturb the election of their proteges.
Shame on you, and please don't talk about justice if the subject is political opportunity !

I'm a die hard opponent to Seselj, and I haven't come to second thoughts about this, but somethings not quite right here.

I do see that he's guilty of contempt of court having given names, a matter as wrong as when Albanians do it. And they've done it. Seselj just did it a way that isn't difficult to prove. A criminal act, and stupidly exercised. And this way another proof that not everything is quite right with him, especially upstairs. But again, things aren't quite right with the Hague court either.

Šešelj is on trial for the crimes against humanity and violation of the laws and customs of war in Croatia, Vojvodina and Bosnia-Herzegovina from 1991-1993.
Why is he still not sentenced for this??

And WHY is he being sentenced 3 times for con-tempting the court?
So he revealed the names of witnesses, but he isn't even sentenced for what he was accused for and about what these witnesses told the court they still didn't have proof to sentence him so they play dirty....

Contemn the court 3 times they couldn't find anything better...
Shame on The Hague!
I sincerely hope that one day Šešelj goes free! and that these bastards get what they deserve in a negative way!

This is obviously the maximum they could pin on him, although they would have liked more im sure they're happy this will see him locked up for the elections.

The Hague Tribunal is a pathetic organisation. Although its purported aim is to punish “war criminals,” it has been reduced to handing out punishments for breaking the Tribunal’s own arbitrary rules.

Dr Šešelj is locked in a former Gestapo dungeon not for “crimes against humanity,” but for refusing to submit to the Tribunal, which is a vehicle created to imprison and humiliate those who dare to stand in the way of the New World Order oligarchs.

It turns out, little by little, mistake here, mistake there, after 10 yr. following error will be breathing free air in the building, most likely this sentence will be life in prison.
