Yes, and because UN1244 is still in force it's up to UNMIK/EULEX to control the checkpoints and collect those taxes, because, I remind you, Kosovo is under temporary UNMIK administration.
(Comm. Parrisson, 31 October 2011 07:19)

Absolutely, and that's why customs taxes will be collected because 1244 is still in force and UNMIK rules. And, of course, those who collect customs taxes at the are normally called "customs officials". Are you saying that they should be called "UNMIK officials". I'm sure nobody has a problem with the labeling that you want to call them with - go ahead, nobody will prevent you to call them whatever you want.

The problem here is not with the labeling; the problem here is that somebody wants to establish the apartheid in Kosovo by having only customs officials of one ethnicity or another. I'm not sure UNMIK will ever agree only to higher officials of one ethnicity !

"Absolutely and KFOR will provide the necessary security for customs taxes to be collected because UNMIK decided so in regulation 3 of 1999 under the powers given by 1244 which, I remind you, is still in force."

Sorry, on the photo in the link below you can clearly see the word KFOR and a Croatian flag on the helicopter. What else is it but KFOR being a transportation company? I wonder if the KFOR commander doesn't know about the things that are going on behind his back or is deliberately not telling the truth - both cases wouldn't be very professional for the ehad of KFOR.
(Analyst, 30 October 2011 13:51)

If that's the case, you can present your facts to Russia, China and the others in the UNSC so that the UNSC, as KFOR's superior, can take the appropriate measures to address KFOR's professionalism.

Since you mentioned resolution 1244 then YOU and your troops should follow it General.

You are a LIAR Mr. Drews there are evidences that KFOR/EULEX worked together to transport the "separatists" so called customs and police people at the crossings.

Since you mentioned resolution 1244 then YOU and your troops should follow it General.

What is happening to this man with his lies? Can he just stay in his position? EVERY day KFOR helicopters are transporting officers to the "gates". Can someone stop this man?

just because a KFOR chopper belonging to Croatia is flying doesn't mean that KFOR is transporting Kosovo Customs and Border Patrol. Me thinks EULEX pilots are taking our boys in the northern borders with Serbia --- not KFOR.

But he's right KFOR isn't a taxi....sooner or later they will have to deal with these barricades so that their choppers aren't used on daily basis.

@Wally,
unarmed? Really? What do you call sniping/murdering KP ROSU Officer Enver Zymberi, shooting at the NATO helicopter, and throwing Moltov Cocktails (Petrol Bombs)? Real unarmed are these criminals that are running the northern part of Kosovo. Let people be!
Thanks,

Wally

Total bs. He talks as if there is no communication between kfor and eulex ., and these provocations are not planned. And listen mate, your "soldiers" used live rounds against unarmed people. You should be in the Hague. How do you look at yourself in the mirror? Not a pretty sight I bet.

So, what's the truth? I think I read here that the Pristina custom officers were transported to the checkpoints in a NATO/KFOR helicopter (from Croatia, if I remember correctly). Have these been only rumors? Does have EULEX helicopters in Kosovo at all?
(Questioner, 29 October 2011 16:09)

woooooooow, these fearsome creatures called "customs officers" :) A couple of these creatures are able to make thousands of people convulsivly shake with fear !
