well "icj", ...since you seem to know much more about China´s motivations in southeastern europe than we do, ...enlighten us with your profound knowledge! =)

...psychologically quite understandable, why you are so eager to downplay chinese support for Serbia.

you will learn, that you were wrong, it´s just a question of time. but, ...unfortunately, like we are used to experience it in here with our dear k-albanian friends who are constantly using western-sounding nick-names in order to create the impression of international support for the albanian cause, ...unfortunately THEN, ...YOU will very likely use an asian sounding nick-name...

that´s what makes the difference between Serbs and K-Albanians, actually. it´s not race, therefore it was always extremely stupid by the K-albanians to accuse the Serbs of racism, ...it´s about resolve and attitude, mentality and character.

and here, you fail. definitely.

Just wondering why people think China is on Serbia's "side".
(Danilo, 30 October 2011 14:37)

Because they like it to be to keep their spirit up :)

Curious... why does anyone thing China gives a flying crap about Serbia??

China's voting record in the UNSC shows that China pretty much only cares about China. Nothing wrong with that either. Just wondering why people think China is on Serbia's "side".

During the "lessons" that we received from our diaspora deluded Serbs, this kind of lobbying is called bribe and therefore is against the moral values. Suddenly, all this becomes normal, and one has even asked why that is not done earlier by saying: too little to late.
We all know that this lobbying is very legal in Unites States but where are your pompously proclaimed principles at?

Oh finally Serbia started to understand what matters rather than spending money for Vuk's touring of Africa

What a waste of money... they should spend it better by lobbying in China

They already have China so no need to spend money there, but I agree, too little too late.

$100,000 is like bucket of water in the sea, while Prishtina is spending millions on its propaganda all around the world. So those that are saying spend it to feed your people, instead, advice Prishtina to spend those millions on feeding its people.

This has been a Serbian manner for years: to pay and make propaganda in order to get what they want. The only difference is that this time they told the public....

Falsly accusing the wealthiest man of the Balkans, the honorable Mr B. Pacolli, of paying money to recognize Kosova and on the other hand you are paying yourselfs money to stop this recognitions.

Spend this 100.000 USD a month to your own people in Belgrade. You would help 500 families with each given 200 USD.

Tung, so you care about wellbeing of people in Belgrade much more than you care about Kosovo Albanians, whose money was spent on Kosovo recognition.

How nationalistic of you.

Unfortunately this is how it works in the USA. You don't have diplomatic talks and try to reason with officials, you must hire lobby firms to represent you're interests. This is exactly what the Occupy Wall St. protesters are protesting over. So hopefully if they get their way, Serbia wont have to keep doing this for much longer.

As far as the issue of Kosovo goes, if it will help us find a lasting solution (until global geopolitical shifts take place) then I'm all for it I guess. Again my stipulation is North Kosovo, Strpce & Gracanica in exchange for no more protesting Pristina's participation at forums, right to use flags and whatever as meetings, international calling code, right to Olympic team & FIFA (not like they'll ever make the final tournaments anyway) and everything short of UN membership.

Anything less I would not agree too because North Kosovo is not a compromise since there is no way Pristina or the West would ever be able to govern North Kosovo anyway. Those people have demonstrated they will not let the fabricated Kosovo Albanian flag fly north of Mitrovica and there's nothing stopping them. Give us Strpce & Gracanica and Monasteries without recognizing it and we wont recognize you either but we will learn to live with each other.
(Ari Gold, 28 October 2011 16:32)

Even Serbian Leadership is not talking about Sterpc or Gracanica they ask only for protection of Churches.

I have a question how would you like control over a church example in city of Gjakove/Djakovica? its in a neighborhood its surrounded by the street in 2 sides and house in two sides Albanian in every corner. Food by helicopter? never be able to go outside in the street and not a chance in to bring Serbs to protect it.

Until now everyone spoke of Kosovo je Serbia now we are talking about North Kosovo and soon we will not be speaking at all.

As per Olympics look at swiss national team 5Albanians from Kosovo, Finland .. have Albanina in the team. Poland PG in Euro was from Peja/ Pec. But K-Albanians have sacrificed much more than missing Olympics for a bit longer or FIFA.
