CoE Rapporteur Marty attends Belgrade meeting

"The Albanians shouldn't be upset with Marty because so far they are allegations & everybody has the right to investigate. If people are innocent then they should have nothing to fear or hide & allegations shouldn't bother them.

I just think that Marty should have some good security guards & police protection because it wouldn't surprise me if he is the target of some thugs from Pristina.

If Marty accepted bribes then what I'd like to know is why didn't Pristina increase the offer and get Marty on your side? If Pristina has the resources to bribe corrupt American politicians, Ahtisaari and whole countries for recognitions then surely they could bribe Marty also? Unless of course he worked on principle and didn't accept bribes?

It would be nice if the "League of Nations" oops I mean Council of Europe looked into Serbia's refusal to investigate and jail those committing terrorism or terroristic threats against Gay Serbs in full and direct violation of Article 21 of the CoE accords.

Question did he have the same number of suitcases leaving as when he arrived or was there an extra briefcase in the midst??

I bet he was honorary guest.

Until 1945 most Germans did not know about industrialised killing of Jews and other "none-Arians" plus dissidents. A lot denied it even after 1945. Some even deny it today. Classical cases of denial (ore abnegation).
For the moment stick to the absurd idea that Dick Marty and others are paid - which is one of the most devious theories spread around here and elsewhere. Who publicly releases such a guff and defames highly respected and honourable European officials must take into account that one asks whether or not he or she is still in possession of senses.

Apparently a certain number of people did not get kidneys or other body organs removed, were undergoing a brain amputation though - provided they were ever fitted with one.

You might wonder why many Albanians here suspect that Marty is payed and bribed by Serbia. I don't think it's surprising, it must be somehow in their mentality that you can buy everything and everyone. And this would explain that the 'Kosovo government' even has the position of a 'bribe minister', currently filled by Mr. Pacolli, whose only task is to buy new recognitions for Kosovo from corrupt African countries, kingdoms and tropical Islands.

Don't know, but at least Marty is a honorable person, something you cannot say about a certain prime minister of a self-proclaimed state. :)

The accusatons are accusations and not facts, but you can surely not call them being baseless and 'without evidence'. Just like Marty was accused by people of being 'anti-american' when he first published his allegations about illegal CIA prisons and secret transports of prisoners in eastern Europe (which turned out to be true, btw.)

About the motives: What about speculating about absurd conspiracy theories and accepting a totally simply one: Wanting the truth to be uncovered and perpetrators of crimes to be punished for their deeds?

You might wonder why many Albanians here suspect that Marty is payed and bribed by Serbia. I don't think it's surprising, it must be somehow in their mentality that you can buy everything and everyone. And this would explain that the 'Kosovo government' even has the position of a 'bribe minister', currently filled by Mr. Pacolli, whose only task is to buy new recognitions for Kosovo from corrupt African countries, kingdoms and tropical Islands.

Ever heard the saying "the pot calling the kettle black" your post would be a prime example to explain the meaning. You accuse the Albanians of having the mentality that they cannot conceive of Marty doing it without a bribe, and then you yourself cannot conceive of countries recognizing Kosovo without being bribed. Must be a balkan trait you think
