DS-SNS coalition “would be meaningless”

Djilas is probably one of the worst in all of Serbia... the money that that guy has wasted is mind boggling. He even openly told people "lets not oppose this for once, lets all be on board"... for his corrupt dealings. I am thinking specifically about the sava bridge, whose price tag is outrageous.

A fair criticism given that Nikolic's conversion to the EU has never been fully explained. But thats really the fact that our sycophantic media will never ask politicians such hard question.

Personally I don't really see a change, Seselj meddled in the party leadership from the Hague. Nikolic wants to be a Russian trojan horse in the EU (he stated that many times before his conversion), while Seselj opposed the EU on all grounds.

Anyways, going back to Djilas's statement. If everything the cohort around Nikolic has done is wrong then the EU is wrong. Since they are now just as pro-EU as Djilas' own party. But I think this logic escape Djilas' mind.

As for concrete solutions. djilas' party hasn't solved anything for Serbia's people either, so he shouldn't talk.

As for switching sides. Look at some of the people associated with DS and tell me they haven't switched sides. I just need to mention the name Draksovic, the man who changed his ideology 180 degrees every time the wind blows. From ultranationlist like Seselj, to pr-american, to Russian monarchist to anti-nationalist to ... well we can play this game all day.

Personally I think that Djilas is so anti-SNS because he stands to lose from a DS-SNS coalition. It doesn't have to be a DS-SNS, he stands to lose from a stable government no matter who leads it. The man is simply a crook and a media tycoon, he dreams of being Serbio Berlusconni.

Look at his selective memory. Oh, nikolic meets with zukorlic. Well so do DS officials, so did Djindjic and so does Djindjic's wife to do this day. When will he condemn Ruzica Djindjic, a DS official, for meeting Zukorlic.

Djilas dreams of replacing Tadic one day. It would be better if DS dissasociated its self form this unsavioury character and throw Serbio Berlusconni (i.e. djilas) into jail.

What politicians say and what they do are two different matters. We will just have to see what the circumstances are at that time. A week is a long time in politics.
