If you want Self-Determination, why can't you let the Serbs in Kosovo have also Self-Determination?

I am from the West. And let me tell you guys one more time: we in the West are getting sick of these Balkan games!

Its obvious that SD knowns that that the effort to get Kosovo Serbs to back down has failed just as it looked as if it might succede. Now these baricades are both a symbolic and tangible victory for Serbs that translates into KFOR and EULEX talking to Serb mayors directly.

"the Self-Determination supporters tried to interrupt the address of Kosovo Interior Minister Bajram Redzepi, by heckling him, and calling him “a coward”, who "had done nothing in the north of Kosovo"

What a sad degeneration of what was once such a promising movement.

I'm just wondering if the turnout for the next election will beat last years record at 105% ahahahaaha

I'm sure in the next elections all major parties in Kosovo will win with 105% - that's what they call a win-win-situation :)

I hope that Thaci the brute AKA Cop killer will be hard on them, send in Rosu to beat the c..p out of them. How dare they! How dare they question Thaci and his government! Don't they know that he is a "war hero"???
I hope that the government in Pristina will really crush this so called movement :-)

Prior to the arrest, the Self-Determination supporters tried to interrupt the address of Kosovo Interior Minister Bajram Redzepi, by heckling him, and calling him “a coward”, who "had done nothing in the north of Kosovo".

I thought they call themselves 'Self-determination movement'. So why do they oppose that Serbs in the north determine themselves about the things going on in their region? Complaining about Kosovo officials 'not having done things' in the north only shows their real face, attitude and goal: They are Albanian nationalists and extremists, comparable to Serbian Radicals, and nothing else.

So, am I correct in understanding that self-determination is OK for these Albanians, but not OK for the Serbs in Northern Kosovo? Can some intelligent Albanian please explain this to me?

I really hope this party forms the "government" the next time around in Pristina. The blatant radicalism would be enough I think to make the West throw their hands in the air on this one.

Although I sympathize with this group sometimes as far as fighting corruption goes, I have to laugh at this bunch of clowns that oh-so-naively think that the 95% Serbian north is the source of the many problems of their government. If they are not naive then they are just nationalists, which is just as silly.
