"Paul just drove a 6 inch nail with one swing of the hammer with this comment, "Kosovo under the Albanians and Albania are like Mexico. Without organized crime, they would collapse. They have no real economy, the real cash flow is in illegal trafficking. If they get rid of Thaci, Kosovo will collapse. He is the economy."
Now that's the truth.
(Dennis, 22 October 2011 17:40)"

Thaci cannot give up now or in th near future. Many US congressmen and senators who support "Kosova" probably got used to receiving nice monthly allowances and maybe they started to require more and more money of Thaci and co to maintain there support (the US has no friends, only interests). In that case the maffia boss of Kosovo is being blackmailed by his greedy masters. And as stated before, when Thaci goes the Kosovo economy will collapse and certain politicians in certain countries will see their investments go down the drain. That is maybe why other Albanian maffiosi do not want to take over because the protection money will only go up and you have to traffic a lot of stuff these days to pay off your UID and continuous support. Once there is nothing to getout of Kosovo the support will be revoked in no time and "Kosova" will remain nothing but a bad nightmare in history.

No, it seems like the 'Blgd regime' nowdays is even more powerful! They can buy articls in renownded German magazines, they can buy US CIA intelligence reports, they can buy Swiss politicans only to spread those propaganda and false accusations against the honorable politician and hero Thaci, the man who is the Kosovarian version of Ghandi because of his peaceful acts!!!

If it really was you writing "...propaganda planted by the spindoctors...", I recommend you:

1. Take a rest

4. Swallow 2-3 downers and wait for help

Don't feel shame. Anyone whose world breaks apart needs some care.

There are a few notable absences from this story, the main one being Roberto.
Next he will say that he never defended Thaci even though I know he is reading the story but won't comment due to wanting to have an out just like Thaci.
I am glad that someone else is saying all this because when Serbs say it, it's all Milosevic's fault.
Frankly I hope he stays in power till the very end which will be soon if he does.

pre 12 godina

LOL this must be just some dirty Serbian propaganda. As everyone knows, "Kosova" is the cradle of multiethnic democracy and European values were law and order are in such abundance, they could practically export it to less civilized societies all around them. Hashim Thaci is America's best friend and any friend of America HAS to be a strong defender of democratic values and human rights. What next? Fatmir Limaj is involved in political assasinations? We should not be subjected to this type of anti-Albanian slander! Thaci is a family man! :)

Paul

pre 12 godina

Kosovo under the Albanians and Albania are like Mexico. Without organized crime, they would collapse. They have no real economy, the real cash flow is in illegal trafficking. If they get rid of Thaci, Kosovo will collapse. He is the economy.

The fears of Serbs in the KFOR besieged border towns are easy to understand. The history of the borders of Kosovo start with trying to keep Albanian smugglers out. When the Serbs lost the border between Kosovo and Albania, they set the stage for the current events. Now the Albanians want to control the border into Serbia for purposes of smuggling, real smuggling, not cigarettes and gasoline.

trizo

pre 12 godina

@Rick,

The first thing I would do if I gained control of Kosovo would be to remove & evict all persons from Camp Bondsteel, demolish everything, piss on the photos of all founders of the camp and then donate the land to Serbian or Albanian farmers.

MikeC

I'm just wondering where all those albanians are who claim Kosovo is a democratic and fair state? Where are those who say that serbs in the north should abandon their "criminal" leaders and join a flourishing albanian run Kosovo on the verge of joining the UN, EU, NATO and the boy scouts? The worst part about this story is that this Thaci character is running a maffioso state under the watchful eye of EULEX and KFOR. Instead of combating real crime in Pristina KFOR is hunting down serbs who are fighting for their rights not to be seperated from their nation and people.

“Thaci comes to Kosovo assembly sessions wearing Hermes ties that cost EUR 300 to 500. Only a criminal or a billionaire businessman can afford such ties,”

1. the guy has a good taste

2. the assembly is the highest institution of the country so he pays respect by wearing the best he has

LOL

To be serious: the voice of dissatisfaction is growing. What opposition is saying was previously induced by some intellectuals as Qosja, even though he seems to be more pro-Thaci his articles can still be applied to Thaci et.al.

“Kosovo has two options – to keep Thaci or build itself. We, the citizens, need to decide whether we want to defend Thaci or to build Kosovo as a democratic state,” the Self-Determination Movement official stressed.

The citizens decided to keep Thaci as a prime minister (ignoring the manipulated elections for a while)

"Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) official Burim Ramadani points out that Thaci has isolated Kosovo. We witness that there are no visits on a high level. Kosovo remains an isolated country due to suspicions regarding Thaci. It is harmful and it affects Kosovo,” he pointed out.

That's for sure! Finally at least some people see that not allegations against him (coming from several sides) are harmful for Kosovo, but to have a prime minister who is connected to crime and corruption. In fact, I was wondering why high officials (like the German foreign minister) dare to shake hands with such a person at all.

"Political analyst Avni Zogiani says he is not surprised that the world leaders refuse to meet with Kosovo government officials because he believes “that Kosovo leaders are corrupt criminals”."

All people who are not blind to see and who are not nationalistic idiots who admire Thaci as the 'founder of Kosovo' (falsely, of course, Kosovo is a construct build by the international powers) know that.

"According to him, the opinion that Kosovo leaders are involved in organized crime is also keeping potential investors away."
I don't think so, potential investors are kept away by the limbo status and the corruption, as well as the lack of infrastructure and competent work force. Who would invest in a country with an uncertain status, where important economical decisions (like banning imports) are only made for gaining cheap points amongst the nationalists?

This is not really a surprise....however, it is interesting to note that FINALLY the news that the supposed "country" of "Kosova" is only being held together by the West, and the West is very much aware of Thaci and his "criminal" elements. So now what should the West do? They KNOW, that even with all their manipulations and money, that Kosovo is a fake state, with NEVER an opportunity for genuine sovereignty. I suspect that if the US would ever truly "talk" with the Serbs, that some compromise could be made- having the US and the West reverse their "independence stand" and support for the K-Albs in return for the Serbs allowing the US to maintain Camp Bondsteel within the Serbian province of Kosovo. After all, that is REALLY what the US wants anyway.....they just went about this whole thing the wrong way and with the wrong people!

If Serbs say this they are called biased and are accused of lying, Milosevic-style propaganda, and so on. However, if Der Tagesspiegel reports this people keep quiet and try to ignore it (if you do not read it it does not exist). My best guess is that some countries (especially the US) do not want to drop their man in Pristina as a reward for all the dirty work he has done for their benefits and that they are afraid to drop him for he may start talking about the involvement of all kinds of Western officials in shady business going on in Kosovo and other places where the Albanian & Kosovo maffias is involved.

I don't think so, potential investors are kept away by the limbo status and the corruption, as well as the lack of infrastructure and competent work force. Who would invest in a country with an uncertain status, where important economical decisions (like banning imports) are only made for gaining cheap points amongst the nationalists?

If Serbs say this they are called biased and are accused of lying, Milosevic-style propaganda, and so on. However, if Der Tagesspiegel reports this people keep quiet and try to ignore it (if you do not read it it does not exist). My best guess is that some countries (especially the US) do not want to drop their man in Pristina as a reward for all the dirty work he has done for their benefits and that they are afraid to drop him for he may start talking about the involvement of all kinds of Western officials in shady business going on in Kosovo and other places where the Albanian & Kosovo maffias is involved.

High time for the warlord´s worshippers and followers to leave the sinking boat - break away! Better: Make him and his accomplices clearing the offices of the institutions in Kosovo!

@Rick,

The first thing I would do if I gained control of Kosovo would be to remove & evict all persons from Camp Bondsteel, demolish everything, piss on the photos of all founders of the camp and then donate the land to Serbian or Albanian farmers.

I am very happy that thaci is finally being exposed for what he is .Howeverthere are thousands like him that america may chose to replace him with. One such scum is the man making derogatory remarks against the "snake".His name is Florin Krasniqi .This guy smuggled weapons from america to Kosmet. This is easily verified as there is a documentary about him called "the brooklyn connection"Since he was on good terms with richard holbrooke and wesly clarke ,I could see this guy being positioned for the top.He should be in jail.

Actually Serbia should be taken infront of courts because it infiltrates foreign media and interferes in other countries internal affairs.

Ciao, roberto from frisco

I was re-reading this and cannot believe that Roberto wrote "Serbia" in this sentence instead of the "United States."

Thaci looks more like the proprietor of a brothel than the leader of a respectable country.I make a larger salary than him working a white collar job in the US but cant afford his kind of ties.

But is Thaci welcome in Ankara? Quite a few albo commenters think turkish support is important (defense and other rubbish), so it would be telling that they prefer Turkey's way of doing things rather than Europe's way of doing things.

"True propaganda planted by the spindoctors from the blgd regime. It clearly shows that it has not changed a bit from the early 90:s. Serbia today is just the same as under Milosevic. This article proves it.
(Roberto, 22 October 2011 11:21)

No, it seems like the 'Blgd regime' nowdays is even more powerful! They can buy articls in renownded German magazines, they can buy US CIA intelligence reports, they can buy Swiss politicans only to spread those propaganda and false accusations against the honorable politician and hero Thaci, the man who is the Kosovarian version of Ghandi because of his peaceful acts!!!

After getting rid of Milosevic and his Serbian Cetniks, Thaci has become the new enemy of the Albanian people. It is time to make a stand to send this guy straight to hell.

Peggy you spoke to soon. Our resident bigot Roberto has gone and made himself look like a complete moron by suggesting that BELGRADE somehow influenced GERMAN media! Were it not so pathetic, I would laugh.

that's not roberto making that comment since roberto never uses capitalization and is at least smart enough to remain silent when he can't spin bad news about kosovo against serbia.

"Kosovo under the Albanians and Albania are like Mexico. Without organized crime, they would collapse. They have no real economy, the real cash flow is in illegal trafficking. If they get rid of Thaci, Kosovo will collapse. He is the economy."
Now that's the truth.

Roberto,

If it really was you writing "...propaganda planted by the spindoctors...", I recommend you:

1. Take a rest
2. Call for ambulance
3. Don't go near windows and stay away from balcony
4. Swallow 2-3 downers and wait for help

Don't feel shame. Anyone whose world breaks apart needs some care.
