Listen!,''dear'' ''German'' citizen of unknown origin.
Here is a reason why,You,should feel ashamed of urself,if YOU honestly feel so:

''...The massacre came as a result of an order issued by German General Franz Boehme on October 10, which said that 100 Serbs were to be shot for every German killed and 50 for every German injured.......''
It is written in the above article.
Nobody is asking YOU,in individual level,to Apologise about Milions of INNOCENT people killed during WW2,because IT is down to ur ''Glorious'' Nation to do so.It is called :COLLECTIVE GUILT,therefore it is ur Goverment's business.KAPISH????????????????????
However, playing the ''Angel'',(as u do with ur ''wise'' advice) in Balkans,it rather makes You stupid than cool.
It is an OVERUSED and CONSUMED tactic by Balkan people, already.
It doesn't work anymore.
Let the Serbian people decide 4 the fate of Tadic and his "friends",and stop spreading ''wisdom'' on the internet.U don't look that smart, anyay, despite the fact that u are ''German citizen''.
And the last thing.
Trying to copy a passage from ur ''glorious'' comment,i thumbed you Up by ACCIDENT.I do HONESTLY Appologise to you,and i do strongly believe that You agree with Me,that ur comment is not worth 10 thumbs up,1 down, but rather +9,-2.(slight dose of SARCASM used here)
Have a nice weekend,nd don't worry too much about Balkans

History is repeating itself with germany involved in ethnic cleansing and genocide against serbs in Kosovo right now! As I write this germany is engaged in this behavior again and in the future there will be commemorations of what is going on now and world war 2.

"Murder of the innocent civilians and students (close to 6000 of them were taken out of their classrooms and systematically murdered outside of their schools) in Kragujevac by the German troops should never be forgotten! "
(Canadian Serb, 21 October 2011 16:06)

As long as Serbia will commemorate the Srebrenica massacre, too where close to 8000 persons were systematically murdered by (Bosnian) Serbs (under the eyes of international observers) only 16 years ago, this commemoration is fine

Playing the blame game doesn't move the region forward. We shouldn't forget and we need to remember what happend, not just here but in the wars of the 90s. We need to do all we can not to allow for this to ever happen again. We are neighbours whether we like it or not. Therefore its dissapointing to see Croatia do what ever it can to destroy the progress made in relations to Serbia and Bosnia. Ever since Croatia has been accepted into the EU it has invested a lot of effort in returning to its nazi past. Thank the HDZ , Jadranka Kosor and the rest of Europe for that.

May the victims of this horrible crime rest in peace.

Very tragic criminal murder of civilians by a people driven by a satanically deranged ideology. Now some Serbs are trying to point fingers at their close neighbours as usual. As if Serbia hasn't had in their mist the same ideology in veering degrees. So recently engaged horrendously acted on civilians now and in their past but turn a blind eye to it.

Such commemorations of the past are completely irrelevant. It barely entertains a sentiment of animosity towards a nation which had nothing to do with these events.
(LOGIC, 21 October 2011 13:48)

I kinda agree with you here, mate. I think these commemorations are respectful if it is in recent history, but to go on for decades does seem to stir up more negativity than do good. The same goes for such commemorations in Croatia, Bosnia, US, etc.
(Englebert, 21 October 2011 14:25)

To Logic & Englebert!

You both are very mistaken about this issue! I don't know what nationality and culture you two belong to but Serbian people care very much about there heritage and tradition. We continue to celebrate the Battle of Kosovo, 1389, regardless of the outcome, we continue to give respect to those serbian souls that fought and died for what they belived in!
Murder of the innocent civilians and students (close to 6000 of them were taken out of their classrooms and systematically murdered outside of their schools) in Kragujevac by the German troops should never be forgotten!
Desanka Maksimovich, serbian writer, decided to write a poem, called The Bloody fairy tale (Krvava bajka), after she heard of Kragujevac student masacre! I encourage all to read it, to honor those young souls who simply had to die because of their religion/nationality.
So you two mates, your opinion is not logical!

Commemorations such as this are essential to remind not only the world, but the Serbian people as well, of the crimes that were committed against their people in World War II. The fact that almost no one in the Western World even knows of the Holocaust against the Serbs in the Independent State of Croatia, or the massacre at Kragujevac, simply underscores what I say. Because of this near total lack of historical understand, absolutely no one in the West understood why the Serbs of Croatia, for example, fought to leave newly independent Croatia.

This was an awful crime committed by German Nazis. However there is ethnic cleansing happening in Kosovo NOW, in which Germans are also taking part in, Tadic should grow a pair of bollocks and start to defend his people from more crimes happening to them. Its no good to go and make some speech about a crime in the past if you who holds the power cannot even attempt to prevent a new crime from continuing. Tadic is a coward, he must go.

RIP to the victims of these despicable war crimes. Let us not forget that right now there are German troops on Serbian soil, again! After such disgusting war crimes, they are back with the support of the EU and the yanks.
Let's make sure their stay is short and unwelcome, and they go back to where they belong.
Cheers!!
