KFOR headed toward barricades, Serbs say

O trust me, they will remove all of them, just a matter of time.

KFOR troops are still located around 150 meters from the barricades that Serbs set up in the village of Zupče and they still have not tried to remove them.

Well done to the Serbs! I read last night on a few Western media outlets that NATO had successfully removed the barricade but that is obviously a lie.

Now I can't see how NATO can win this without resorting to violence and shooting people, however, the cameras are ready to spread this around the world. When the fire comes, it is all over for NATO and Albanians. They will then realise that negotiations really were the best option.

In the mean time, my sources tell me that the alternative routes for passage between Central Serbia and KiM are working just fine. NATO have no access to close them now. Too bad NATO and too bad Thaci, this is the bone that gets stuck in your throat. Albanians in the end will pay for it.

Some points to note. This has strengthened the opposition, the current sellout government has little control over events, EU membership support has fallen dramatically, NATO support is practically non-existent. It looks like this event has finally woken up Serbians while Russia and China are finally ready to provide concrete support. After allowing crippling sanctions on Serbia, it is about time.

FROM FERIZAJ- You mean from Urosevac, not the name you made up once you stole the territory from its rightful holders. Perhaps you should consider joining your friends KFOR on the frontline. But no, wait a minute. You usually let them do the dirty work for you, then move in behind to mop up the pensioners and children, and then steal their land.

I am glad the cameras are catching these foreign occupation forces and their brutal actions agains peacefull demonstrators. The more they show their brute force aggression and what they are all about, the sooner the Serbian army will be back there to protect their citizens.
These foreigners need be reminded that they are on sovereign Serbian soil, and are not welcome in Serbia. They will go home with their tails between their legs eventually, it's only a matter of time. Keep up the resistance, all of Serbia is proud of you!

I cannot imagine NATO soldiers massacring Serbian civilians over this issue. If they do, the media will be there to see so the whole world will know. Unfortunately, the media control is strong in the US. Although we supposedly have freedom of speech, publishers will only publish what they want, and over the past two decades, much hasn't been published that's pro Serb, with the exception of tennis stuff. The Washington Post hasn't even taken time to have its own reporters publish anything about the barricades; it relies on the Associated Press. How I wish I could be there with you to stand against these troops, and I'm only half Serb. I am with you in spirit though and will continue to push your cause here in the US.

No media outlet has stated that all the barricades have been removed. However, the Serbs have been pushed back. This has the makings of another Krajina. The Serbs there were mobilized, defended their ancient home et etc. Ultimately, it would have been better for them to have recognized Croatia and not been driven out. I fear the the same fate awaits the Serbs North of Kosovo.

Adriatik-They were forcibly cleansed from Krajina. They didn't have a choice. I'm not talking about Martic etc, i'm talking about innocent grannies and old men and children. Even now they can't return from fear of violence. Going away for a couple of weeks, maybe on my return. Will keep posting though, i am sure you will be happy to hear!!

Too much attention and energy wasted for 60,000 Serbians in north Kosova. They make only a small town or a small street in a metropolitan area.

These guys constitute less than 3% of the Kosova's population and want to grab 20% of the land.

The other part of the 3-4% of the Serbs south of Ibar have land that goes up to 15-18% of the entire territory of Kosova and still cry that they are persecuted.

Serbs in Kosova who make abot 6-7% of the population possess land that goes to above 35% of the entire Kosova’s territory.

Actually Denis, having children is not just about feeding them. I know this may come and a surprise but children need love and guidance, which is something I see all of the time in Serbia. Children are idolised and cherished. When I compare that to Albanian children, throwing rocks at buses, desecrating graves and abusing elderly Serbians I can only assume they have been brought up with hate.

I see Albanians coming here daily spitting at Serbians but I don't think you hate us. Actually I really believe you hate yourselves. We can be proud of having world famous sportsmen/women and intellects. Serbia is deemed a safe country relative to world standards and the hospitality here is world class. If you like having as many children as possible and raising them with hate, what you end up with is a backward region full of crime with people always blaming others for their own misfortunes.

What yokel entertainment I'm surprised some local entrepreneur hasn't set some chairs close by selling chevapchichi with butter milk giving running commentaries to the greatest show on earth. Definitely could be entertaining tourist traction I'm sure Ataman would be the fist to go and see it.

These guys contradict themselves and have double standards.. the only argument they have got is about establishing 'law & order' and they only say that because they hear it from the heads in Pristina.

We have the strongest history & the most years in control of Kosovo and that is undeniable (unless of course you're getting empirical evidence from a K.Albanian scholar).

The borders were taken from us and put into international hands for their own agendas but this cannot & will not remain like this for too long. More countries do NOT recognise KosovA.

The only reason that we are in this current situation is because America have the military power otherwise it would be a different situation altogether. The Americans have not earned this power but profited from less fortunate & exploited people all over the world.

No other country has interfered in so many other countries' business like America has and they cannot keep this up forever.

Even a lot of Americans hate their country and the image America has because of all the greed & hunger for power that their government has.

They even put people in jail so easily to exploit cheap labour and are privatising many of their prisons so they can make profit from locking people up! There are 7 million Americans who are either in jail or on probation!!!

I've been all over the world to every continent except Africa & Americans are not popular at all. We all know there are good American people but a good government/justice system/geopolitical objectives etc? That's a different story.

Unfortunately, the media control is strong in the US. Although we supposedly have freedom of speech, publishers will only publish what they want, and over the past two decades, much hasn't been published that's pro Serb, with the exception of tennis stuff.

Oh, thanks for letting us know... From today I'll start following the free and independent Xinhua News Agency.

Now, somebody may ask how do I know that Xinhua is free and independent ? Simple... because they have published pro-Serb news. From now onwards, the standard of measuring whether a media is controlled or not is whether they publish or not pro-Serb news (regardless what the facts are).

as for the radicalization of albanians, in all movements you have factions. 8 years albanians pursued passive resistance. 8 years they were ignored. they were stripped of most rights, kicked out of universities and a period of police state followed.

These guys contradict themselves and have double standards.. the only argument they have got is about establishing 'law & order' and they only say that because they hear it from the heads in Pristina.

We have the strongest history & the most years in control of Kosovo and that is undeniable (unless of course you're getting empirical evidence from a K.Albanian scholar).

The borders were taken from us and put into international hands for their own agendas but this cannot & will not remain like this for too long. More countries do NOT recognise KosovA.

The only reason that we are in this current situation is because America have the military power otherwise it would be a different situation altogether. The Americans have not earned this power but profited from less fortunate & exploited people all over the world.

No other country has interfered in so many other countries' business like America has and they cannot keep this up forever.

Even a lot of Americans hate their country and the image America has because of all the greed & hunger for power that their government has.

They even put people in jail so easily to exploit cheap labour and are privatising many of their prisons so they can make profit from locking people up! There are 7 million Americans who are either in jail or on probation!!!

I've been all over the world to every continent except Africa & Americans are not popular at all. We all know there are good American people but a good government/justice system/geopolitical objectives etc? That's a different story.

I'm sorry to say kalbs but it is only a matter of years until things change and only then you'll look back and wish you'd been able to stand on your own two feet and make your own decisions instead of being moved like a puppet on strings.
