Gay rights NGO organizes protest in Belgrade

Im from Sweden so pretty much everything and anything goes here. Serbs should just turn a blind eye and let people get on with their lives. They've made their point. Gay lifestyle will not be promoted in Serbia. But behind closed doors just let it go.

I was stabbed once in Boston.
I put it down to experience and always bought holiday health insurance.
I didn't feel I needed to protest in front of an embassy.
These activists always need a cause, stupid, stupid people. Go Away, go and live in Sweden!

There's a difference between violent random crime and targeted crime. Everyone knows that Belgrade is overrun with violent thugs that go around looking for Gay people to assault. The problem is so bad that 200 people cannot march 100 feet in a park without riots convulsing the city.

The response of the Serbian authorities is to ignore their own responsibilities and to give in to terrorist threats and violence against Gay Serbs. As is the refusal of anyone in the Serbian government to jail anyone in significant terms for anti-Gay violence and terrorism. This response from Dacic and the Police is seen as a "go right ahead" to those who are considering beating or stabbing Gay Serbs in everyday life. And the reason why public Gay pride parades are vital in Serbia.

To tell Gay people "you deserved to be stabbed because you don't hide in the closet" as some Serbs say is not an appropriate result and will only encourage more violence against Gay people leaving clubs, walking on the streets with shirts or simply looking Gay (whether or not they are gay or not).

My guess is that the criminal that did this will get 2 months in some 'luxury' jail for this. Because, like those that commit terrorism on the streets of Belgrade against minorities, this will not be prosecuted significantly.

These professional agitators will never stop. If they really want to protest hatred and bigotry they should protest the terror of the Albanian extremists in Kosovo, where you get shot walikng on the street simply for being Serbian. Fortunately the Serbian people see through their gay agenda.

Yes, that's the solution! The criminals who attack people or thread with violence are rewarded, the victims have to go away and are banned from protesting. I though this state of mind is only present in the small brains of islamists, so far.

And what a funny point that you see the solution against being attacked and stabbed with getting a 'health insurance'. I'm impressed.

These professional agitators will never stop. If they really want to protest hatred and bigotry they should protest the terror of the Albanian extremists in Kosovo, where you get shot walikng on the street simply for being Serbian. Fortunately the Serbian people see through their gay agenda.
