icj-You forgot get murdered and have your organs removed in Albania.
(Wally, 16 October 2011 19:09)
Sure, if that makes you happy and you can find a doctor in Albanian who can do that
Does this resolution say that checkpoints must be guarded by ethnic Albanians only? What does this resolution say about a number of Serbian policemen to return to Kosovo?
(aaayyy, 16 October 2011 19:27)
The resolution, not being written by a racist mind, is not racist. So it does not say whether Albanian or Serb citizens of Kosovo can man the checkpoints. However it does not prevent any race or ethnicity from manning the checkpoints. As for the Serbian policemen, the resolution says that an “agreed number” can return to Kosovo. Unfortunately, no number has been agreed yet. If and when that happens, the Serbian policeman will return to Kosovo.
So UNSCR 1244 is still valid?
(Milan, 16 October 2011 19:42)
Of course ! What on earth made you think that it is not valid ?!
Great, then why are Serbs living in fear and behind barbwire in some many places in Kosovo?
(Milan, 16 October 2011 19:42)
I don’t know; I’m not a Serb and/or I don’t live in Kosovo. Go ask the interested parties if they are living as you say and, if so, why…
Then Kosovo also remains part of Serbia, the official successor of the FSRY and the Serbs in Kosovo have all rights to resist a fake, but somehow allowable UDI.
(Milan, 16 October 2011 19:42)
That’s not what 1244 says. 1244 says that KFOR has to ensure freedom of movement. As for the UDI, that’s in accordance with 1244; end of the story.
If KFOR would enforce its own mandate then Kosovo passport cannot be accepted,
(Milan, 16 October 2011 19:42)
There is no mandate written anywhere that “Kosovo passport cannot be accepted” by KFOR
and there cannot be a customs for why would you need that if you cross an internal administrative border, right?
(Milan, 16 October 2011 19:42)
Because UNMIK said so in August 1999 under the powers given to UNMIK in resolution 1244 which is still in force.
The West and the Kosovo Albanians are so full of BS and unfortunately the current Serbian government has some characters that at times say not the smartest things. However, in many cases they are right.
(Milan, 16 October 2011 19:42)
I’m leaving that to you to solve with the Serbian government.
Serbia has legal ground to enter Kosovo, especially to protect the Serbs living their. This is inacted in UNRES 1244, in which is still in effect and recognized by many countries around the world
(aaayyy, 16 October 2011 20:11)
That may be enacted in the (in)famous Serbian version of 1244, but not the Arabic, Chinese, English, French and Russian versions of the same.
After withdrawal, an agreed number of Yugoslav and Serbian personnel
(aaayyy, 16 October 2011 20:26)
Yes, let us know if and when the number is “agreed”
the Internation Court of Justice (ICJ) stated; That it was not illegal to declare independance, but it was illegal to secede. (The verdict landed right in the middle, favoring not one-side fully).
(aaayyy, 16 October 2011 20:33)
No sir, it did not say “it was not illegal to declare independence” and it did not say “it was illegal to secede” – go and read the ICJ Opinion, not the propaganda. Dude, you have made so false statements in this forum as all the other posters taken together :)
KFOR = Piss and Wind.
(sj, 16 October 2011 23:45)
Ooooh, I’d then be careful if I were downwind from where KFOR is positioned :)
So you agree that there is NO ICJ verdict stating that secession is legal.
(aaayyy, 17 October 2011 19:52)
Of course we agree. Nobody asked whether the secession is legal, and nobody needed the answer to that question. But if you are curious, go and ask.
