Russia is an observer state not a member.
--- Yes we really are but what other great power has such a status ? I guess the K-albanians would pay many tons of heroin to join us. We have the same rights but voting. So we cooperate with the 90% of the Islamic world which is outside the US influence. Kuwait is inside.
(rote kapelle, 12 October 2011 06:53)
Must have been that overwhelming Russian influence that got the OIC to pass a resolution in June urging all members to consider recognizing Kosovo!!!

In Islam they cut hands off for robbery while you once came as a guest and then stole a whole province.
(rote kapelle, 12 October 2011 06:53)

You are absolutely correct; Albanians stole Kosovo from Serbs. The question is though, Serbs stole that from whom ? I'm assuming, of course, that Serbs have not been in Kosovo for 5B years since the Earths creation - let us know if that assumption is wrong !

But you missed the point, my friend. Not Russia or China will oust the criminals in Pristina. That will be the business of the self-appointed "international community", so of the usual suspects when it comes to interventionism (backed by UN resolutions or international law or not, does not matter as we know). Do you really believe NATO and EU are friends of Thaci and Co.? The masterminds of crime and terror are only useful idiots for them to walk the UCK on a lead. Whenever it is deemed suitable the "heroes" will face the same destiny like other criminals in top positions who where temporarily the "international community´s" darling: They will be dumped! And how the maniac in Pristina behaves, eg. sending his "judges" around, it appears the time for it is coming closer. He and his accomplices will see their judges and disappear behind bars. Dick Marty is absolutely right, he was just too fast and a bit too pushy...
(balkanbert, 12 October 2011 10:34)

I did not say any of the above, so I think you missed my point. Anyway, as for what you state above, I’ve been saying the same for a long time. US and the others are not friends of Kosovo, the same way that Russia is not a friend of Serbia. There is no friendship in international relations; there is just (temporary) alignment of interests. As soon as US will not have the same interested as Kosovo, it will dump it, the same way that Russia dumped Serbia back in 1999.

I learned several things today.

I learned that B92 is silly in that Kuwait recognizing Kosova deserved "most commented status", but it did qualify to be placed on the front page why? Oh, because it doesnt qualify as "Anti-Albanian" propoganda.

I learned that a Serbian won the Noble Prize. I mean no, I mean yes. LOL!!

And I learned that Tadic & Friends prevented new recognitions! LOL

Suck it Serbia!!

Then bring plenty of toilet paper with you. I noticed little taps on walls next to toilets but no toilet paper anywhere.
I am guessing you will use the hot air to dry yourself with afterwards.
I have seen it first hand.

In fact as an Albanian from a non-practicing muslim family I would vote tomorrow to outlaw it from the Albanian populated areas.

Why is it sad to serve ones own interest? If you feel that Serbian identity could not exist without religion, that does not apply to the Albanian one. In fact I think your reality is SAD.

It is so funny how the SErbs cannot accept reality
--- Thank you for the complement but I am a Russian and you have to find another reason why I “cannot accept reality”

If Kuwait were a puppet
--- Sounds so funny that I doubt you live on our planet

mass recognition would have added fuel to that fire and it may have hurt Kosovo among the non Islamic countries
--- K-type Muslims discredit Islam and this is why they do not notice you. In Islam they cut hands off for robbery while you once came as a guest and then stole a whole province.

many do not want to be counted as US puppets
--- Why should they if your Don Yankee were a friend of Islam ?

What a shame Albanians fall for this as positive news. This is because they are not educated enough to see that all the recognition's are bought and could be used towards improving their standard of living instead.

Don't offend your allies that way; the Chinese in the 70's thought they were a superpower. You're saying they were wrong ?!

As for today, I'm perferctly fine if you want to label China a superpower, or a super superpower if you want. Still, the average US resident earns 6x more than the average Chinese one. So, I would prefer to live in a country (let's label it, as miserable) like US and earn 6x more than in a superpower like China and live in powerty. Of course, that's a matter of personal preference; some people are more interested about the label than their standard of living, and that's perfectly fine.

Kuwait itself once was an Iraqian province and when Saddam tried to return it back we’ve all witnessed the US invasion. Besides as a puppet state it behaves as it is ordered to. Not only in the Serbian province but in Libya and Bahrain as well.
(rote, 11 October 2011 18:02)

Very interesting observation. So a UN member like Kuwait is actually a puppet state. So being a UN member does not mean being a real state. That runs contrary to what many posters in these forums have stated for a long time that only by becoming a UN member an entity is a real state !

Very routine. So let’s wait for the shift of the balance of powers in the world. It’s already happening and the West is no longer dominating in any of the spheres.

It is so funny how the SErbs cannot accept reality. Being a friend to the US is not necessarily being a puppet. As Serbia is to Russia.
If Kuwait were a puppet would they not have recognized immediately instead of almost 3 years later?
I personally believe that the rash of recognitions from the Islamic states being delayed was for another reason than Russian influence. When Kosovo declared independence, one of Serbia's many false claims was that it was just to create an Islamic state in Europe, mass recognition would have added fuel to that fire and it may have hurt Kosovo among the non Islamic countries. Also as many of the countries show disdain for the US and its influence many do not want to be counted as US puppets such as you say and therefore waited to show it is their decision not the US's.
Also as regards your statement of Russia being a member of the OIC, Russia is an observer state not a member.

Even in those comments it is clear that was muslims against christians as one of commentators adresses his agressive god when it comes to Kosovo. OK, anyway, soon Iraq will take back this artificial state Kuwait and then there will be one "recognition" less

It's not about comparing GDP. It is about that Kosovo Albanians have a guarantor and a financier for their stillborn retarded child known as "Kosova". It depends on donor money, Serbia does not. But the donor money is drying up fast as the donors are going to be dealing with large scale protests in their home countries and wont have enough time, money or resources to help the organ snatchers for much longer.

This is clearly what its all been about. You cannot stand on your own feet and Serbs can. This has always been the case that is why your people allied themselves with Ottoman Empire, Austria-Hungary, 3rd Reich and now the 4th Reich. You are not independent people and need to be subsidized just to be dirt poor. But the subsidies are not going to be there for much longer.

Must have been that overwhelming Russian influence that got the OIC to pass a resolution in June urging all members to consider recognizing Kosovo!!!
