Kuwait announces recognition of Kosovo

Now all six members of the Gulf Cooperation Council recognise Kosovo, which is a very rich organisation.

That makes the total recognition count at 86 ... 85 being from UN members.

I know that recognision from Russia and China are important but also the recognision from other countries are positive news because we are getting close to the magic number 128 which will aloww us to be the member of UN.

FYI China's GDP (2 billion people) for 1 year is = GDP of USA(300 million people) for 25 days now in the middle of the crisis

Inshallah it won't happen cause Islam is not the synonymous of banditos. Also as you must know that Russia al hamd-ul-ullah is a member of the Islamic Conference. And we have very good relations and thus influence at most of the Muslim countries. It explains why so few of them (only puppet ones) has recognized the robbery.

I personally believe that the rash of recognitions from the Islamic states being delayed was for another reason than Russian influence. When Kosovo declared independence, one of Serbia's many false claims was that it was just to create an Islamic state in Europe, mass recognition would have added fuel to that fire and it may have hurt Kosovo among the non Islamic countries. Also as many of the countries show disdain for the US and its influence many do not want to be counted as US puppets such as you say and therefore waited to show it is their decision not the US's.

As for today, I'm perferctly fine if you want to label China a superpower, or a super superpower if you want. Still, the average US resident earns 6x more than the average Chinese one. So, I would prefer to live in a country (let's label it, as miserable) like US and earn 6x more than in a superpower like China and live in powerty. I did not say any of the above, so I think you missed my point. Anyway, as for what you state above, I’ve been saying the same for a long time. US and the others are not friends of Kosovo, the same way that Russia is not a friend of Serbia. There is no friendship in international relations; there is just (temporary) alignment of interests. As soon as US will not have the same interested as Kosovo, it will dump it, the same way that Russia dumped Serbia back in 1999.

I personally believe that the rash of recognitions from the Islamic states being delayed was for another reason than Russian influence. When Kosovo declared independence, one of Serbia's many false claims was that it was just to create an Islamic state in Europe, mass recognition would have added fuel to that fire and it may have hurt Kosovo among the non Islamic countries. Also as many of the countries show disdain for the US and its influence many do not want to be counted as US puppets such as you say and therefore waited to show it is their decision not the US's.
Also as regards your statement of Russia being a member of the OIC, Russia is an observer state not a member.

Very interesting observation. So a UN member like Kuwait is actually a puppet state. So being a UN member does not mean being a real state. That runs contrary to what many posters in these forums have stated for a long time that only by becoming a UN member an entity is a real state !

As for today, I'm perferctly fine if you want to label China a superpower, or a super superpower if you want. Still, the average US resident earns 6x more than the average Chinese one. So, I would prefer to live in a country (let's label it, as miserable) like US and earn 6x more than in a superpower like China and live in powerty. Of course, that's a matter of personal preference; some people are more interested about the label than their standard of living, and that's perfectly fine.

I did not say any of the above, so I think you missed my point. Anyway, as for what you state above, I’ve been saying the same for a long time. US and the others are not friends of Kosovo, the same way that Russia is not a friend of Serbia. There is no friendship in international relations; there is just (temporary) alignment of interests. As soon as US will not have the same interested as Kosovo, it will dump it, the same way that Russia dumped Serbia back in 1999.
