I wonder why EU/EULEX support Kosovo Albanians that much. What's their motivation? Are they just afraid of them? Or EU doesn't want to feed Albanians and want Serbia to do it - thus EULEX actions in North Kosovo favors Albanians?

The longer they wait, the better off Serbia is. As long as Serbia remains a candidate but not a member they do not have to share in the financial disaster that is the EU. Just keep nodding "yes" and hope no one accelerates the process!

Pls say it ain't so!!

Can you read? The text said the following: "the report does not refer to Kosovo as an independent state, but rather as a territory in accordance with the Resolution 1244 of the UN Security Council."
So the map is still valid.

"Political consultations are still underway, the diplomat said, adding that the EC will most likely recommend that Serbia be given candidate status.

They are fighting about who will get the blame of blocking Serbia's bit if Tadic doesn't bend over far enough. Don't get me wrong, officially they will blame Belgrade, but it will be known which EU ms will have blocked the bid.

Pls say it ain't so!!
