Unlike Serbia, India is a free nation. It has freedom of speech, petition, protest, etc. What are you going to trade with India?
Tadic and Dacic certainly didn't feel that they didn't have other options when they violated virtually every single human right in their COE or EU accession requirements last Sunday when they banned freedom of speech, petition, protest, assembly, association, and expression of minorities.
How are those prosecutions and investigations of those making terroristic threats and committing violence against Gay people coming along? I haven't seen any stories on anyone being charged with any crimes. How about a follow up story on how the prosecutions went after last year's violence. Did ANYONE go to jail?

As for the Croatian economy doing well it will be slowing down proverbial stop then rolling back down the hill. As the never ending stream of clone/clown/EU bureaucrats jump on it for free rides. Until it's run in to the ground and they move on to find their next victim any volunteers Serbia.

So it was possible before and may be possible later to have policies that are not linked to the inherent corruption of the EU that has finally been brought to the surface like a major failure at a sewage treatment plant? Does this mean Serbia will no longer have to eat Brussels excrement and say, "Please sir, can I have some more sir?".

No. What seems to be common is the singular lack of imagination and faith in themselves and their own people. "We must reform to get in to Europe", not "We must reform to make our lives better".
