Only an independent body, composed of multi-national team members, can perform an unbiased investigation into the KLA organ-harvesting claim. If only Eulex does the investigating, that will result in a cover up, and the truth will never be known. Arrests were already made in the organ trafficking case. Too bad B92 didn't publish that on their English site. A good number of suspects are in fact hiding in Albania. The ball is rolling and some still think this is fictitious :)

You say arrests have already been made but B92 did not post it on their English site, are you saying they published it in SErbian directed at a bunch of people who need no proof as they have determined that it is true and all Albanians are guilty?
If you read the article the prosecutors are going to try and determine (IF) the organ harvesting actually happened. How can someone be arrested for crimes a crime when it is not certain that a crime has even been committed? Maybe you are confusing arrests in the Medicus case which is widely publicized but has no links to the "yellow house" except in the minds of desperate individuals.
And please do not tell us that you got your info from top secret sources that you cannot reveal and this is info that you are the first to reveal it publicly in this forum. There are enough of those already posting.

A generous "retirement" package has been enough incentive to get politicians to do a number of things.
Second, Marty has not put his reputation on the line. The report does not say IT DID happen, only that there is enough evidence to support an investigation. If nothing surfaces, he just says the witnesses turned out to be unreliable and that is WHY a further investigation was warranted. No harm no foul for him but the Serbian agenda of trying to cast Albanians is the same horrible light that the world sees the Serbs of the 1990's has been accomplished. In the court of public opinion proof is not a necessity.

It will be hard for EULEX to find out the truth, when witnesses were killed or intimidated, just like in case of Limaj or other KLA mafia related crimes.

This is hapenning at the same time as Medicus case is being heard in prishtina.it looks they are on right tracks,since the same ministers are implicated in prishtinas organ snatching as well as in "yellow house"..

Unlike Kosovo who ahs a bribe minister to pay corrupt ministers of some countries to recognize Kosovo, Serbia doesn't have the need to buy anything and anyone. Furthermore, Marty is not a person who can 'bought' - he's from Switzerland, not from Kosovo.

Yes, there was an investigation before, and no, there was something found: Syringes and blood residues in/near this 'yellow house', if I remember correctly. The organ harvesting case couldn't be proven, which doesn't mean that it didn't happen.

Nothing quite so juicy. Just that the Serbian site reported on arrests being made, along with a number of other arrests EULEX made that's unrelated to the organ harvesting case but connected to rampant corruption in Kosovo's government, including Rexhepi's own Interior Ministry. Enough to make one laugh again at Kosovo's attempt at imposing "law and order" on Serbs when they can't even impose "law and order" on themselves :)

Now we can see what the Kosovars want:
1st. to move the border from Albania to K.Mtrovica Ok.
2nd. Import - one million Albanians to the Kosovo to hunt Serbs - Ok.
3rd. Export - Serbs to Albania in the process but not fully completed.
Dick Marty will not find nothing in Albania.
Reason: Hunters are not there they are bussy with hunting in Kosovo.

Correct. There's enough evidence for further investigations. But as in the other cases where Kosovo Albanian mafia/war criminals were involved, it's very hard for a court to find them guilty. Even the ICTY was not able to convince Limaj in the first trial, for example. But don't make the mistake to interpret this face as 'the crimes didn't happen'. No, it only means that a court couldn't proof the accused guilty. And we all know why: Killed witnesses, disappearing witnesses, intimidated witnesses, witnesses who suddenly commit suicide, and so on. In those cases, at least a shady light remains. So it's no wonder that the public opinion might be different than a court opinion. The ICTY didn't proof Milosevic guily, but the people know that he's responsible for horrible crimes.

So what is EULEX if not an independent, multi-national body? Or, alternatively, what would you consider a "real" independent multi-national body? A body composed of Russian and Chinese investigators? Just as a reminder, even four out of the five countries that have not recognised Kosovo (Spain, Greece, Romania and Slovakia) are participating in the EULEX mission.

Is witness statement the only means of proving someone guilty of a crime? What if the witness is lying? There are other forms of proof, like say, forensics. In this particular case, Mr Marty was unable to any type of evidence, be it forensic or otherwise. The previous 2 investigations found nothing. Oh and by the way, it is incorrect to assert that no KLA men have been found guilty of war crimes, they have and they are currently serving prison sentences. As for Milosevic, it was not the lack of evidence that saved him, there was enough proof to convict him, it was death that saved him

EULEX is German/Northern European-dominated. It's clear by their actions.

A more representative body would be something that looked more like the Council of Europe. EULEX is more like the European Commission + the United States + Turkey.

Also, Dick Marty does have evidence: a great deal of consistent eyewitness testimony. But he's stated he's not releasing their names until there's a credible witness protection program in place---unlike the current "get-hung-in-a-German-park-for-free" variety on offer from EULEX.

There was, earlier, physical evidence that was sent to the Hague that somehow, mysteriously, got intentionally destroyed. Someone in the comments here made the incredible claim that all this destroyed evidence was "photographed". First of all, how do you know, if it's all gone? Secondly, what good is a photograph when what's needed is chemical or genetic testing?

I wonder how far along EULEX is in destroying new evidence and ratting out eyewitness identities?
