Cicero, Adam when you read something to you pay attention to what you are reading-you know process the information. I said when 'demonstrators turn violent' not peaceful demonstrators. Can you spot the difference?

Even if demonstators turn violent there is and will be no excuse for the use of live rounds, I think thats a given around the world.If that's your idea of law and order I look forward to another Syrian situation which I'm sure by your responses you will find perfectly acceptable.

No pipebombs were thrown despite claims and NATO has produced no evidence to back this up. This is the second time NATO has lied about this incident.

"Commenting on the claims that KFOR soldiers used live ammunition when firing at Serbs at the Jarinje administrative crossing, the NATO official said that this was an act of self-defense, and that soldiers had right to act like that."

But NATO previously said that they didn't use live rounds. Do they understand why they have no credibility? Forever above the law.

Miles are you really going to describe Serb protesters carrying loaded guns and pistols as peaceful? I guess by your logic burning border posts, shooting Albanian border patrol agents, and threatening Albanian officials guarding the border with death are all components of "peaceful" protest. The Serbian protesters contain a subgroup of thugs who are are armed and dangerous: they've shot at Albanian and NATO troops in the last few weeks are are wiling to do so again. NATO and the KOSOVO authorities have every right to protect themselves from attack by armed "protestors" and to establish rule of law in the lawless northern province. Non-violent protest should of course be allowed but so far the protests have been only partly non-violent with some radical violent extremists taking part.

@miles

denegrate your own intelligence if you wish, by describing pipe bomb throwing cowards as peaceful demonstrators.

Obviously this guy is covering up the incident. If everything is proper like he claims, then why talk about it at the HATO meeting? Why not send him to Beograd to stand trial for war crimes?

It all sounds so simple from our man in Nato. Shooting live ammunition at demonstrators is perfectly normal. So in his book at any demonstration anywhere around the world it is perfectly acceptable to fire live ammunition on demonstraters that turn violent. I guess he was disappointed that the British police didn't start machine gunning the rioters in London recently.

Either the man is an idiot or he takes us for idiots or maybe I haven't read the latest 'dealing with the media manuals'- tell them a story, keep a straight face and eventually all will be acceptable or forgotten if the crime is committed against people considered unfriendly to us.

Who do this inflated war criminal think he is now? The UN?

He and his local band of thugs has killed over 50.000 people in Libya. The date sat for their crimes against humanity, killing spree tour in Libya is about to expire on Thursday. Expect them to eye Kosovo again as an easy pray for these cowards (as long as their quisling regime in Belgrade remain idle), they have already smelled the blood..
