Belgrade mayor calls for cancelation of “weekend events”

Gays are the most powerful force in Serbia. All they need to do is walk 1 block and the city explodes.

If some extremist anti-church group would call to burn churches in Belgrade every time they hold a mess, would Dragan Djilas than also call "on all sides to maturely and responsibly consider the moment we as a country and a society are in, and not to go ahead neither with the burnings of churches nor with the church messes scheduled for every sunday, because they complicate an already complex situation?"

Quite probably, he wouldn't say that because it's totally ridiculous. But at the same time our deficient mayor doesn't make a difference between the pride demonstrators and thugs that violently oppose this parade. Just to put it clear: it's not the pride people who violently attack the thugs and ruin the city of Belgrade at the cost of all of us. It's the thugs who are behaving violently and should thus be prevented from doing so.

What Djilas does is like blaming the Jews for the Holocaust. Without Jews no Holocaust. Without gays no violence. With such a perverted logic he fits well into the long line of sick Serbian state leaders, but he doesn't deserve to be reelected by the progressive side of the Belgrade electorate.

You could be right - in that spirit they should march in Jarinje or Mitrovica and build a barricade or two. And put the rainbow flag on that barricade. Let Yanks be confused and let's see, will their tanks explode or will they take down rainbow flags or not.

Now this would be the proper way to demonstrate.
