German troops on Serbia's border is a direct provocation by NATO to start a conflict, the Germans have not lost their NAZI touch of old shooting unarmed civilians, they were always good at that the cowards. If they want to shoot at unarmed Serbian civilians then action should be taken to correct this, if they shoot at us we should shoot back period. Probably. its fair to say though, that the US interest in Kosovo is pretty actual (Bondsteel anyone?) They have been Kosovo's most ardent supporters, followed in close proximity by the UK, Germany, France & Italy...the 4 main players of the EU (a club Serbia is trying its hardest to join). So whilst one cannot deny the rise of China, it was too late to enter Kosovo, which now houses the largest American military base in Europe. Even though America's decline is inevitable, it is still a pretty strong power and does posses a large nuclear arsenal. Do you seriously believe Russia or China would risk nuclear war over Kosovo?

Now for the hard part, show where in 1244 that there is a stipulation that Northern Kosovo will not be under the same laws as the rest of Kosovo.
There were Kosovo police at these gates as customs before, but they were of Serb ethniticity, they were simply replaced by Albanians, no laws changed only they are going to be enforced now.

As much as I appreciate Russia's stance on Kosovo, the fact that Jeremic has to only say that, oh Russia has said our view is pathetic, he should be reinforcing that view.

I think that so many people commenting here don't see the real picture in the changing international order. The FACT is that the EU and USA are beginning to cruble economically, and this will have consequences for those cowardly albanians who cannot fight their own conflicts. Indeed China does in a way need the USA, but the USA is far more at the mercy of the Chinese, who hold American bonds. When the Americans become further indebted to the Chinese they will have no choices but to let go and say goodbye to their little colonial experiment in Kosovo. The time will come when they will not be able to maintain camp bondsteel, the fact that the EU needs to be used with such things like EULEX shows that the Americans cannot handle the mess they started.

Nowadays world wars in combat are extremely unlikely, its all about economics, and the Chinese are winning this war, along with Russia which is rising economically. The USA needs to get ready to bow to the new rising powers, their reign in global power will come to and end, and the Serbs will triumph from this.

Police officer is send by his commander and his ministry did the police officer threaten shoot at any one even then you are not allowed to shoot and kill police. Not sure in what country this is allowed.

What is solution for North split what will heppen to the rest below Ibar? You see if you claim non violence as way of solving issues then good but Serbs should disarm as well its well known fact they are up to the teeth in the north.

For that matter, even Serbia’s closest allies in Europe like Spain etc, hurried to dump Serbia after ICJ’s decision by saying that their situations were not similar to Kosovo; and indeed they are not. Anyway, if governed by the “smartest” means having an income, on average 1/6 of those governed by the “dumbest”, I’d personally prefer to be governed by the “dumbest”. It is the believe that what is happening is a case of 'national interest', and the manipulators love to use this slogan. As much as I appreciate Russia's stance on Kosovo, the fact that Jeremic has to only say that, oh Russia has said our view is pathetic, he should be reinforcing that view.

I think that so many people commenting here don't see the real picture in the changing international order. The FACT is that the EU and USA are beginning to cruble economically, and this will have consequences for those cowardly albanians who cannot fight their own conflicts. Indeed China does in a way need the USA, but the USA is far more at the mercy of the Chinese, who hold American bonds. When the Americans become further indebted to the Chinese they will have no choices but to let go and say goodbye to their little colonial experiment in Kosovo. The time will come when they will not be able to maintain camp bondsteel, the fact that the EU needs to be used with such things like EULEX shows that the Americans cannot handle the mess they started.

Nowadays world wars in combat are extremely unlikely, its all about economics, and the Chinese are winning this war, along with Russia which is rising economically. The USA needs to get ready to bow to the new rising powers, their reign in global power will come to and end, and the Serbs will triumph from this.

The world has changed significantly since 1999. Maybe you haven't noticed living under that rock and only getting Albanian press but Russian and Chinese intrests have gone up in that region

if you're implying that the West's interest in Kosovo is nothing to do with humanitarian deeds, you are right. put it this way though, I as an Albanian who lived through the policies of MIlosevic (policies which the majority of Serbs still support) would rather be a servant of the West than a slave of Serbia. so i prefer the current 'occupation' to the one I lived under 10 years or so ago

The Russians have what they want in Serbia including a military base to fight any fires that might be started by the west. It is easy to say that most anything nt supported by Serbia is a violation of 1244, it has become the most popular quote nowdays. I expect soon that droughts and flu epidemics will be declared violations of Resolution 1244.
Now for the hard part, show where in 1244 that there is a stipulation that Northern Kosovo will not be under the same laws as the rest of Kosovo.
There were Kosovo police at these gates as customs before, but they were of Serb ethniticity, they were simply replaced by Albanians, no laws changed only they are going to be enforced now.

Sorry Luke you can demonstrate but no reason to block the road, you can not burn border posting even if u think if its just administration line.

Police officer is send by his commander and his ministry did the police officer threaten shoot at any one even then you are not allowed to shoot and kill police. Not sure in what country this is allowed.

What is solution for North split what will heppen to the rest below Ibar? You see if you claim non violence as way of solving issues then good but Serbs should disarm as well its well known fact they are up to the teeth in the north.

I understand its hard for Serbia to accept but this is all reason of 1990s i say swap in territory is best solution.


Also why is ok for Serbs in north to block the roads disturb situation put many people in danger but not ok for Pride parade to happen in center of Beograd. Is it because people would use violence and Serbia is afraid to show its issues with nationalists.
