When they attacked Jarinje border post and burned it, they wore masks. All I can say is; "COWARDS".

I think there will always be unrest with Serbia no matter what happens, so I think better now than later. I think all Kosovo citizens must follow Kosovo rules and regulations under Kosove constitution.

"The KFOR commander believes that recent incident at the Jarinje administrative crossing was caused by a small group of masked violators, prepared for violence." No one among Serbs at Jarinje wear a mask . So someone lied to KFOR commander or he did it.

It appears as if Mr. Thaci has sent already "judges" to Germany to see Mr. Agim Zogaj there...
(balkanbert, 29 September 2011 12:03)

Good one! Though I'm not sure if Thaci sent them or only Limaj's clan

"KFOR, as he said, must act only in cases of acute threat to security."

Exactly. This means KFOR must not transport any Albanian custom officers to the checkpoints with helicopters - that is way beyond their mandate.

Don't you remember in July? When you tried to fight your own battles you suffered a humiliating defeat and had to call the big dogs to fight your battles once again..what else is new.

However my friends in the South, you are not internationals, we know you well. So if there are Albanians walking around North Kosovo..don't be surprised when the locals there will not treat you kindly

It`s pushing a tumb in everyone noses-the crime that happens in prishtina far proceeds any crimes in north,or anywhere in the neigbrhood. And these people must be thinking thaci is getting little out there..But then they paid internationals all the money they wanted so now everyone better be quiet,or they might be on a Times front page or hanging in a park..
That`s why Serbian people have to insist on the same treatment-and no we don`t hand out cash..

LOL!!! I really like that one. Since KFOR doesn't want to meet Thaci's "judges" it is far simpler to harrass Serbs.

I just can't understand why Thaci and co r bent on taking over the North, what does prishtina have to gain by provoking unrest?

(Levski od Sofia, 29 September 2011 11:46)

Easy one. Thachi does this to divert attention on the abysmal conditions that Kosovo Albanians live in, the corruption, and lack of investment. Why focus on his failings when he can easily distract the commoners with rhetoric regarding the north? They all (including Kurti's clowns) have taken the bait and stopped focusing on his failures.

Additionally, these incidents have distracted media attention from his pal Limaj's war crimes trial and the organ case.

LOL I never knew bread, milk, medical supplies and Plasma keks were "illegal" goods :) But ok, KFOR does't want Thaci sticking his nose up north? Prevent him from sending judges up there just as they're preventing "illegal" goods from coming from central Serbia. It's that simple!

Milan, 29-09-1250: My dear Milane - My countryman wanted to say the incident was caused "by a small group of disguised violators, prepared for violence". He was refering to Thaci´s UCK gunmen, disguised as custom officers and prepared for violence. So, he was right I fear...

That kind of rants is to be expected from spineless rats with NATO´s backing, he knows that. What he really should be "concerned" of is his fellow Germans shooting Serbs like it is the 40´s all over again and free hunting season on "untermenschen´s".

I just can't understand why Thaci and co r bent on taking over the North, what does prishtina have to gain by provoking unrest? There is no logic for serb to live under albanian and vice versa.. If Thaci is hell bent then go install your judges yourself, or will Thaci get NATO to fly in the judges with helicopters every day to work? This whole thing is a farce.. move on both teams.. remember historically in times economic upheaval, old scores are settled.. ethnic grievences are played out on the battlefield.. a battlefield which the west does not understand or belong too.. they too will go home soon.. hence both sides should shake hands ensure the loop of hatred does not play its course!

“Of course we can remove the barricades, but they would set up new ones immediately,” Drews said. KFOR, as he said, must act only in cases of acute threat to security. And don't forget it, Drews. KFOR is not the Albanians' army, as they seem to believe.

“When they arrived, the other peaceful demonstrators withdrew. The events at Jarinje show how important illegal flows of goods were for Serbs,” Drews explained.

LOL!!!! "illegal flow of goods". We are talking about food supplies coming from Serbia. If KFOR and EULEX are to be status neutral then nothing is "illegal" about those supplies entering Kosovo. But KFOR and EULEX are not status neutral, meaning they are exceeding their mandate. As we can see, this has potential to backfire and it looks like they are stepping back now.
