You mean that as long as you get a stooge with a Democratic or Republican tag on his vest and they are elected then that’s democracy? God are you brainwashed!

The question of “why don’t you vote in the US elections?’ was put to your historian Gore Vidal and he said “what is the point? We have one conservative party with two branches and that is how it’s been since 1776”.

I take more what Vidal tells me of US history than your meagre research on Wikipedia.

From the safety of your Jones Street you have no moral justification to say anything about Russia. At least not in the way you do. You did not even set your feet in Russia ever. Others lived there and do not need your "wisdom" full of stereotypes.

Barking is scary as long as you have teeth.

For now good idea to take care about your tooth prosthesis - and remember, dental work is cheaper in Russia so polish your language for your advantage instead of empty bark without substance.

undemocratic american system where the only two choices are Far Right and Further Right.

I see you get your worldview and U.S. political news from CNN or BBC. The current Obama progressive or liberal (left) party has been in office for over two years now. George Bush served his term limit. And look at how well the U.S. is doing under the same socialist policies Europe is now paying for.

Since 1776 until today or 235 years of so called democracy in the US and which party has held office other than Democrats or Republicans? Welcome to US style democracy.
(sj, 25 September 2011 08:03)

Actually my dear U.S. Historian there have been presidents from the Federalist,Whig, Union and even the Democratic-Republican parties. And the rumors are untrue that the U.S. has presidents for life the most is 2 terms. 265 different people as leader sounds pretty democratic. How many different Czars, Leaders or presidents has mother russia had that were voted out of office?

As long as these two are alive, they are going to trade places every 8 years, and no one else would dare to take those two chairs. Welcome to Russian democracy

Same old Communist machinations. Why does Russia even pretend to be democratic. Hasn't Putin done enough damage to Russia.(World Citizen, 24 September 2011 18:03)

Well -
Russia are soon facing existential threaths from Japan and China togheter,
only Putin fits as leader of Russia in those times.

Russia also stands before the possibility of beeing split along etnical lines,
a United Russia therefore is needed more than never considering the existential threaths above.

Agim you just gave me a good laugh. How you dare question democracy in other countries? Your country is a joke either Albania or Kosovo. Your governments are criminal hipocrits, and you dare give someone advice or coments.

FYI, Putin has turned Russia from a bunch of hasbens to the most powerful nation in Europe and brought its average wages per person from about $3000 p/y to about $15,000 p/y. As for your claim that Russia isnt democratic, this system allows you to vote for anyone, compared to the undemocratic american system where the only two choices are Far Right and Further Right.

Brilliant news. Medvedev was a good president, but it will be a pleasure to see Putin back on the world stage. United Russia is the only party fit to run Russia, and Putin is indeed a model leader.
(SCP UK, 24 September 2011 17:34)

What? A biggest sell-out. But he is more clever than the average stupid Balkanic or Central European sell-out and it's just not as obvious. Sorry, I have to say the truth or at least what I believe is.

Like in USA or Hungary there is not a single party in Russia I wold vote for. All of them may go to hell if you ask me, from all three countries. The sooner the better.

Welcome to Russian democracy

Apparently, lemmings vote them in democratically, that is just the nature of lemmings. 110% for Thaçi is even more democratic. C'mon, crooks here, crooks there. But IMO your crooks are crooker.

That damage is never enough, there is always more the steel. But look at that Hilbillary, *ssholbroke, Bush, Palin and other gems. I supposed to vote all these crooks in - and Orbánka afterwards. Thanks, I either stay at home or found my own Solyanka and Karadjordje Steak Party.
