I fully agree that Serbia should work for constructive relations with neighboring countries, as the EU demands. Tadic can absolutely agree to this because our neighbors do not include Kosovo: how can a country be a neighbor with its own province? In other words, how can Germany be a neighbor to Bavaria? Since we don't recognize the "independence" of the Province of Kosovo, and it is not and never will be a legitimate UN nation, then yes, Mr. Ambassador, Serbia is committed to constructive relations with its neighbors. The real question is whether the EU will exist in its current framework in the next ten years, given its fundamental structural crisis in the euro. We can't presume anything or any promises regarding the EU. However, we can presume that BRIC will be the engine of economic growth into the future.

Blah, Blah, Deutschland Blah.

"Serbia's ways of solving open issues will certainly contribute to the process of reaching the decision on the country's candidacy," Maas told Tanjug late Thursday."

A pity this does not apply to everyone else, from the OHR in Bosnia acting on behalf of the 'Bosniaks' to the Kwint advising Kosovo Albanians because they are incapable of representing themselves effectively. The Beatles wrote a song about this: "I Want to Hold your Hand". Pathetic.

Wolfram-we are being constructive and have been now for months only to be hoodwinked by Pristina and the Americans. We won't bend over for you though like the others.
