The establishment of KFOR was forced on the US and their allies. The west wanted complete control of the entire situation, but they did not get their way. The west would have used FORCE a long time ago if they could have done so.

Exactly what I was saying. KFOR is there because Russia said so. And I agree with you that similarly to the past, KFOR is not going to use any force because it does not have to. Albanians support it; Serbs support it. Everybody supports it and resolution 1244. So against whom should they use force ?!
If these barricades are not an issue for your albos then why this business? I doubt that you know that region as you have missed my point entirely. Do you think that goods can only flow through main roads? Well they don’t have to and that is my point that the Serbs in North Kosovo are not going to suffer from these roads closures.

That’s great then. Nobody will suffer. End of the story. Barricades can remain there as long as they want. Unless of course you have a problem with that because you may have not trained your elephants to climb barricades or secondary roads :). And of course, everybody would be happy for K. Serbs to build new roads for free in Kosovo, thus improving Kosovo’s infrastructure. As I said before, Kosovo Albanians should do more for Kosovo taking example from their fellow K. Serb citizens of Kosovo.
I am extremely well informed about the economies of both the west as well as Asia. Let me say this if the western economies go downhill your Kosovo will not live very long as they cannot afford to maintain it. The EU has already told both Croatia and Slovenia that there is no other means of survival than to cooperate with Belgrade as Brussels cannot pour any more money into their treasuries.
In the US the social situation is going from bad to worse as the government is spending huge sums on wars to try and kick start their economy and losing at every turn. The Americans now have officially a 15 trillion debt. That is only the debt owned by the Federal government. If you take into account the debt owned by the individual states (that is also public debt) the entire amount comes to over 24 trillion.
If I was an Albanian in Kosovo I would be very worried.

As I said, as far as I’m concerned, the US economy can go to hell – it does not affect me. At least will make you happy and who am I to deny happiness to anybody :). As for the Albanians in Kosovo, by all means, you can go there and start to increase their awareness about the US economy and convince them that they should start to get worried about that. I think everybody will be happy to have an expert like you enhance the financial and economic education for the population of Kosovo.
