@Leonard & Michael:

I'm curious as to what you think of some Turkish born men who my family and I are well acquainted with who claimed that when in school (at least in elementary school in my country) that some students ridiculed their nationality by saying "gobble gobble turkey" and if you're aware, that's the sound turkeys allegedly make. So therefore Leonard & Michael since you don't think highly of Turks do you therefore find it humorous that there are people who do or who may compare Turkish people to turkeys? I'm curious so that's why I'm being inquisitive with regards to your opinions on this matter.

Why don't you Turks move back to the eastern Kazakh ,Mongolian step's your native land and stop being violent murdering thieving asses in a area where you don't even belong. Keep pushing Turkey ,Europe will again take care of you like in the battle of Battle of Navarino [link] when your Islamic turbans got to small for your big fat heads.

Lenard, you are absolutely right. I understand you are a Croat: my background is Serbian. Despite our past conflicts, it is fundamental that our people are both Christian, we have a common interest in recognizing the destruction that the Turks have brought to the Balkans through their brutal occupation for many centuries. In addition, given Turkey's recent attempts at increased influence in the region, I would think that Serbs and Croats would have more that unites us than divides us. Is a resurgent conservative Turkey in the Balkans good for Croatia? I don't see how. It is certainly not good for Serbia.

Can't beleive it, but you gotta call a spade a spade.

Nice comment Lenard. A Serb and a Croat can agree on something..regarding Turks. Now take the next step Lenard and see that those Turks not only enslaved our Greek Orthodox Brothers, but also Serbs and the entire Balkan Region. Those Bosniaks you defend Lenard are nothing more than Croat and Serb traitors who turned on their faith and nation in order to save their own skins.

But that's for another day...let's agree that those Turks are a fundamental cause for friction in the area..OUT!

Once again, Turkey uses the pretext of "protecting" what's left of the real TC community in order to get what they really want,firstly it was half of the island for strategic purposes ,now GAS and OIL has been found on the so called Greek side of the island they want that as well.
We're back to the same old Turkish policy of foreign affairs by threats, ultimatums, demands and sabre rattling.The reality is that the hydrocarbons are in the EEZ of the republic of Cyprus and within the EU, and therefore any attack on Cyprus it will be an attack on the EU.Iam curious to see how the EU's response to turkey.

I personally wouldn't loose any sleep on threats and statements made by mullah Erdogan.Few months ago he used to call Gaddafi and Assad as his brothers and then he stiched them up well and proper.

Cyprus is shaking in its boots. I wish they would take those Turks aside and tell them to shut up and stop dreaming they are a big player - Tutkey is a THIRD WORLD COUNTRY.
