on good authority the only man you havent looked at yet is mr dukanovic, the man played an integral role in giving up key instalation positions to nato and us during the bombing of serbia. He has alot of blood on his hands, and to my knowledge he played a key role in riding zoran to distabalize serbia for the benfits of indapendant monte croatia

Covic probably could be regarded with as much suspicion as a lot of other political figures from that period. Please correct me if I'd be mistaken, but I believe he was loyal to Milosevic once upon a time.

In any case, the key point in this article appears at the very end: the allegations are currently unsupported by fact.

It is possible that Covic was involved. I wish this wasn't true, but I'm afraid it is, as this man's ambition is well known.
I also know somebody who had personal dealings with the guy who said he was corrupt. He is also well known to have strong connections with state security.

Covic has admitted on record as knowing 'Dule' Spasojevic. It will be interesting to see what happens now. I wouldn't be suprised at all if Covic was to decide to take an extended vacation until the election is over. From his hideaway (prob in Montenegro) he will gives interviews to the media to say that he was to be used as part of the goverment's 'cosmetic' attack on organised crime.

It could happen like this, or the government could choose to ignore it - particularly if Covic threatened to implicate other senior ruling officials in the government today.

For the record if it was him I was completely fooled by his performance in the wake of the assasination. He looked as shellshocked as any of them at the time. But its also true to say that he was very, very close to taking over the role of Prime Minister, although Zivkovic managed it in the end.
