The meeting was closed, but Jeremic, Hoxhaj and Churkin came out (individually) after the session ended and took questions from the press. Sounds like Russia and Serbia didn't get any satisfaction. (The UNMIK head even said during the open part of the session that dumping gravel on the roads unilaterally was not helpful.) Hoxhaj said that the actions planned for tomorrow were going forward, and that Kosovo received support for its position that they were not contrary to Res. 1244 or international law - although he didn't say who voted how, if there even was a vote. Churkin claimed that "status" was supposed to be discussed in the Brussels talks (really?), and really, really didn't want to talk about Konuzin's meltdown in Belgrade - he walked off as a question about it was being asked. No shoes were banged, however, at least not at the stake-out.

Of course it will. We will not split up our province of Kosovo nor give it away.

I think this endeavour is going to end in another defeat for the Serbian diplomacy unfortunately.

Of course this is for domestic consumption and it might help the ruling coalition to cling on to power a little bit longer but nothing more. Kosovo has gone and let's all try to get into the EU.

God bless ...

Mr. Tadic & Mr. Jeremic! Please show some TEETH coz this will not be enough. EULEX and KFOR are ignoring Serbia. Why dont you deploy the Serbian Army near the checkpoints and protect the Serbian people.

I think all this is for public consumption and in the end Mr Tadić and Mr Jeremic would say we tried everything but we could't stop Prishtinas action. Guys the whole of Kosovo will remain together and there is no separation. Ciao
