For those that don’t see it or just refuse to accept the changing situation, this is a good example of the west losing control over the middle east and its only the start. These are the little signs that show just how impotent the US/NATO have become.

This would have been unheard of 10 years ago, but as the debt ridden west sinks further into oblivion, so does the influence/control over the middle eastern countries.

Daniel Serwer, who's interviewed occasionally by B92 (and who blogs at peacefare.net), happened to be in Cairo last night and part of the crowd in Tahrir Square. (Not at the Embassy riot.) Much of the muscle was provided by what he said would be called "football hooligans" in Europe. People are frustrated by the pace of change, continuing poverty, and the recent killings of the Egyptian policemen in a border-crossing incident. Simply destroying a major force for peace in the region, the Egytian-Israeli agreement, will do neither side any good.

Well done Egyptian masses. The Arab Spring continues. First get rid of your own tyrant, then solidarity with the Palestinian people suffering under illegal, barbaric and tyrannical Israeli rule for 60 years. Good to see the Spring won't remain as some backyard internal affair but that solidarity is key.
