Belgrade won't accept customs officials at checkpoints

You know Mr Stefanovic, we will look back in a couple of years and have a good laugh at this statement.

Kosovo Serbs have their democratically elected representatives. They should negotiate for them not some clerk from Belgrade office .

If serbian people in N.Kosovo really care about this customs they would protest and thousands of them would block the road, from recent tv interviews it looks like majority dont really care.

Can someone help me understand this. How can you dictate who should or should not be manning the border posts of another state/geographic creation (whatever you want to call it) when you were pretty much forced to accept their stamps? Mr stefanovic, you are in no position to dictate who the Republic of Kosovo sends to man their border posts. All that you have negotiated so far is a solution which would allow the flow of goods and people into serbia from kosovo and vice versa. This agreement that was reached had nothing to do with the internal organization of Kosovo but rather an agreement between two adjacent neighbours on how to do business.

Liburi, there is no such place as the Republic of Kosovo. That's what this entire matter is about. The stamps do not mention Republic, there are no seals of an Republic on the stamps, and there will be no Albanians manning chechpoints at the Serbian administrative line. You can draw your own conclusions, Serbs and Albaniacs alike. Whatever makes you happy in your little world.

Yeah right!? Serbia's gov knows very well that Kosova's gov has no plans to send customs' officers, to those checkpoints, for safety reasons as well as pressure from EU, not to escalate the situation. At the same time Kosova's gov will not send them but they're claiming they will, again, both govs trying to gain points in front of their voters.
Now what do we do? Well we ask EU-Eulex to intervene and as if by magic we will see EULEX taking over these checkpoints and both govs, Kosova's and Serbia's will then claim as their victory.
Kosova will claim that it is their victory because now we have prevented Serbia's criminals controlling those points and EULEX will work and respect, as it is now, Kosova's constitution.
Serbia will keep repeating that it is their victory because we have prevented ilegal so called Kosova's gov to take over those checkpoints of Kosova & Metohija. :)
When one read such statements, from both goverments, one wonders are they(govs) aware that their people are not that stupid. These blatant lies are so easy to see that even a child of 5 will be able, quite easy, to see it.
Oh well, waiting in aww for the next lie...

@Winston I don`t know in what world do you live but there is a place calles Kosovo which 81 countries have recongized its borders and Kosovo institutions are responsible for these borders and can send there own customs officers . Did Borislav think that somebody will use these stamps in Prishtina , stamps are used in borders does he not no that . as usual Serbs are liers and they just lie to EU so they look good but they never stick to their words .
