The Vatican does not recognize the illegitimate declaration of independence by the province of Kosovo because, unlike most countries in the world, it cannot be bought off or threatened by the West; they make their decisions pursuant to International Law. Obviously, it recognizes Serbia. If the Vatican found anything legitimate or laughably desirable about Kosovo, they would have recognized it a long time ago. The province of Kosovo remains a stillborn child whose only productive activity is organized crime.

Write this down people because I already can think about the postings in this forums when Vatican recognizes Kosovo in the years to come. Just for a preview, I bet postings will say something like:

Now that Pacolli got rich enough he visted Vatican and bought off the pope. The pope recognized Kosovo because he was bribed and because the Catholic Church is in rivalry with the Orthodox Church. Vatican's recognition of Kosovo means nothing because Vatican is a very small country, and it is not even a real country because it is not recognized by UN since it's not a UN member.

Janus was attending the celebration of Mother Teresa Day

Ironically Mother Teresa's father was murdered by Serb extremists while working on protecting the rights of Albanians in Kosova and Macedonia.
Hopefully, his excellency Janus knows a bit about it.

This is not a diplomatic slap in the face anymore, that's already a kick in the ***. For several times Vatican officials have been constrained to speak out the NON-Recognition of Kosovo. What is the Kosovo government going to do now? -Burn down the new build catholic Church in Pristina, they had hoped to boodle the Vatican? Or are they going to turn it into a mosque, hoping moslem countries will rethink in Albanians favour. Their recognitions are also expectet to come "very soon", now for three years on.

This guy Enver Hodza has in the past come out with some whoppers so this is only his way of trying to give some hope to his starving rabble in Kosovo. I’m most interested to know since your Croatian allies visit recently how many projects have they announced in that dung heap called the independent state of Kosova? Not a blessed one you say; wow what a surprise. But you guys can always live in hopes and dreams LOL, LOL.
Hey I just heard that the Martian are about to recognize Kosovoa.
