Yeah a recognition of customs stamps with no coat of arms, symbols of sovereignty or even that cherished word your criminal enterprise of a government likes to use "republic".

Um,what planet do you live on if I may ask?If you would say planet Kosovo i would say it must be one very far from earth I assume.

The only reason Thaci is a hater (what else can you expect from a terrorist) is that the north remains largely Serbian dominated, and the only nice thing he got out of that botched up police operation was a right good kick back to his lair in Prishtina.Ohh but don't be mistaken, the Serb do co-operate in other areas,go look at some pictures on the Internet and look at the wonderful range of ghettos where they can chose to live,or see their numbers forcibly reduced,or have their organs cut up and centuries old landmarks destroyed before their very eyes. The best thing about this is that when the us retreats and when Nato dissolves eventually that age old problem might be solved.

You certainly have a lot to be proud about with your "state":A terrorist leadership,a policy of ethnic violence and discrimination/cleansing.a "country" whose denomination cant even get a full page on Wikipedia, and a "nation" through which 80 percent of the worlds illegal heroin trade passes through.

Congratulations

ps.In order so that "kosovan" readers of my post can understand:I was being sarcastic with that last word above there.

Passing by,
I am not exactly sure how you could have possibly interpreted from my comment that I advocate an idiot throwing a rock at a bus...

I believe that the substance of my comment was to find out whether another commenter was suggesting Albanians not travel through northern Kosovo (a view which I would consider reprehensible), not live in northern Kosovo (which I would also struggle with, since I feel that our humanity is much more important than our ethnicity), or not try to control northern Kosovo (which I do not necessarily agree with but certainly understand).

I do think, however, that it would be fair to say that not many stories are written about the thousands of Serbians who travel safely around Kosovo every day, and instead stories focus on single instances of harassment. Of course I don't agree with any act of violence to terrorize others. Having said that, from my perspective here in Kosovo (which is a place that more who write comments on this site should visit, preferably before writing any more comments), Serbians in Kosovo are generally left alone and allowed to live at peace.

I agree with winston!
I also want to add, that the USA is good for 75% of the NATO budget!
At the fall of the Berlin wall it was 50%..
Let's see for how long the Americans will have money to pay for NATO's Budget.
For the American debt, Check the link: http://www.usdebtclock.org/

And if you want to know how much the debt is , then check this link with the visualization of the American Debt: http://usdebt.kleptocracy.us/

It's crazy how much money that is.

Albanians, stay out of Northern KiM, if you want peace. You have no business there. The Serbs taht live there do not want you there. Is that too hard to understand. You (Albanians) have stolen enough land from Serbia, leave the N. KiM alone if you know what is good for you. How long do Albanians think NATO will fight for them? They are going broke, and do not want to be there. They made a mistake in backing the Albanians.
(Winston, 5 September 2011 17:44)

Winston, I certainly wouldn't want to disagree that the EU (and America) are in dire financial straits, and so it seems is the rest of the world, unfortunately. For example, if Europe and America go down too hard, then oil prices fall significantly and also lessens demand for products from China, which in turn lessens their oil consumption and causes oil prices to completely fall off a cliff, which of course takes the middle east, Russia, and Brazil right over the cliff with them (I read somewhere that Russian oil only makes economic sense at about $90/barrel and above). But, I don't want to start too much of a debate on international finance, since most of it is just guessing at the future anyway... :)

I take it from your message that you now have written off the southern part of Kosovo as lost (by saying that the Albanians have stolen enough Serbian land and to leave the north of Kosovo alone)? Is that correct?

The part that I take issue with a little, but perhaps I am mistaking you, is your "stay out of northern KiM if you want peace." Are you saying that Kosovo Albanians should not be free to travel through there, to live there, or to try to establish governmental authority there? I can perhaps understand you not wanting Albanians to establish governmental authority there, particularly since that is exactly what the Albanians are not wanting Serbia to do, especially in the south of Kosovo.

As far as living there, I think a peace-seeking approach would be live and let live. While I doubt that you have spent all that much time in Kosovo, I live here, and have for several years. With the exception of isolated incidents (like throwing a rock to make a statement - perhaps of stupidity), most Serbians live in peace in southern Kosovo. Everywhere you drive, you see people with Serbia license plates, and I have met a number of Serbians, all of whom seem to be reasonably comfortable with their safety.

As far as freedom of travel, I think that everyone, regardless of ethnicity, should and must feel safe travelling anywhere, at least when travelling for personal or business reasons. I understand that there is always the possibility of people protesting political visits, and even peaceful protests can turn out to be quite dangerous, so while people travelling for political reasons should be safe in a perfect world, it is best not to assume their safety.

Why should Albanians stay out of North KiM ?! North KiM inhabitants have not declared that they want to be independent from Kosovo. So, the same way that Kosovo Serbs are not told to stay out of the rest of Kosovo, Kosovo Albanians cannot be told to stay out of North KiM, at least, until North KiM declares independence from Kosovo.
