It’s very sad that you still don’t realize that Kosovo has not been recognized as an independent state by Serbia nor will it ever be so. When Americans refer to the State of Ohio or State of New York or the State Of California do they mean that Washington recognizes these states as independent?
I believe that when reference is made to the word state in respect of Kosovo it means what was on the table originally “more than autonomy but less than statehood” or words to that effect.
Firstly, the EU is in huge trouble as it has already entered a second recession (these EU people are getting as bad as the US where they talk about a second recession when in fact it’s a continuation of what happened in 2007). If the EU was strong then it would have taken strong steps to finish this Kosovo standoff, but Greece, Ireland, Portugal, Spain and now Italy with further rumors spreading that even Germany is being looked at by the rating agencies to a downgrade. Then add France to the pot and we don’t have to talk about the UK which is a basket case now.
Now we get to the nub of this guy’s argument – hunger in Serbia. The amount of quality agricultural lands in Serbia is capable of feeding the entire European continent let alone Serbia, but Kosovo with 2 million mouths to feed is not. In fact your Albos import nearly everything because there is not enough to survive.

1. Winston is absolutely right- Serbs just need to be patient until the EU economically collapses from debt- and they will. Every major back within Europe is broke from sovereign loans which will never be repaid, along with enormous derivative debts. This is common knowledge for bankers and the politicians- too bad it's not really known among the general populace. So Serbia just needs to be patient. And Winston also brings up a terrible subject of Thaci's gains from human trafficking- everyone should see the current movie "The Whistleblowers" and see if it has any relevance to the Pristina regime???

It is very sad that both Rick and Winston are blind to the fact that Serbia has recognized Kosova. Just look at the way Bogdanovic and other Serb officials have started to use their new expression: "State of Kosovo". Doesn't this tell you something has changed in the thinking in Belgrade?

Winston, have no fear, the EU will be around long after Serbia gains admission or not, whether you choose to believe it or not. The simple fact remains, Serbia is not strong, so how can it stay strong, as you would hope. What you mean, I assume, is that Serbs stay stubborn. That is another matter entirely, but do not forget that hunger always seems to win over stubbornness. However, be my guest, stay stubborn and see where it gets you!

Not a dinar can go to the thugs in Pristina from customs duties. The Thaci mafia gets plenty from their drug and human smuggling activities. Stand strong Serbia, and reject these foreign (EU) occupiers on your land. They will be gone in due time (when they all bankrupt), and you shall take back what is yours.
