Calling it 'organized' is too much honour for the Kosovo politicians. It would be the first things that is 'organized' in Kosovo. Let's call it like it was: Pure ethnical violence, incited by blatant lies spread via Pristina media, the simple minded population fell for it, and it was surely welcome for Thaci and other so-called 'politicians'

lol poor poor vuk...

the "democratically elected Serb institutions in Kosovo" are undemocratic and illegal and ultimately irrelevant NOTHING will change that. all serbia has is the threat of inciting and encouraging violence by serbs.

The republic of serbia has no legal or moral authority of any kind within kosovo... in so far as serbia is concerned it is IMPOSSIBLE for kosovo to make or take unilateral actions.

If 2004 was "organized" then what were 1995, 1998, and Serbia's actions throughout 1999?

Thanks,

Serbia's humiliation at the UN continues. It's time for Serbia to realize that the only think they can do is recognize Kosovo as an independent state and try to form good neighborly relations that will benefit the Serbian minority in Kosovo. Serbia has no other options and every year that reality is starting to set in. Now Serbia has accepted Kosovo's export stamps and soon the parallel institutions that Serbia maintains in the north will start to be dismantled. Serbia can not continue playing these games it's inevitably losing. It's time for Serbia to face facts and look out for its own good by recognizing Kosovo and working on implementing fundamental reforms that will move the country forwards instead of backwards towards the disaster in the 1990s.

“Just like Russia and China are blocking every attempt in the UN Security Council to legitimize Kosovo separatism in the international-legal sense”

There has not been any attempt at the UNSC (to legitimize Kosovo separatism in the international-legal sense) for Russia and/or China to block. That is because it is not needed. Kosovo’s UDI is already in accordance with international law and resolution 1244, so no further action by the UNSC is needed. Russia and China’s veto is worthless until a draft-resolution or draft-presidential statement is presented to the Security Council.

“Priština’s allies, who also have the power of veto, are strongly supporting it. But it is very problematic that they aside from their usual behavior this time practically defended unilateral use of force. I think they sent a pretty dangerous message,” he told daily Večernje novosti.

Vuk forgets that Pristina’s action was in response to Belgrade’s action. Belgrade’s action in 2008 was unilateral; as soon as Pristina did the same, then it became bilateral. Vuk, having studied in the US, should know very well what is the meaning of “unilateral” in English.

Wouldn't want to bore any of you Albanians like Ian does, so I wrote this instead just in case you didn't like the last one:

“The debate was pretty heated, as you could see. It is encouraging that most of the members clearly supported our positions."

I watched the whole thing (or at least listened while I browsed elsewhere), and 1) it wasn't a debate, and 2) it wasn't heated. A bunch of ambassadors read out their statements, the Indian President read Russia's statement calling for unilateral condemnation of Serbia, and that was that. Everybody called for everybody in north Kosovo to calm down. Oh, and Jeremic managed to list every negative reference to Kosovo and its government his staff could find in every one of those international reports, without mentioning how Serbia was ranked in the same places. Nobody yawned or rolled his/her eyes, but they have classes to teach them about that.

Seperatism? really? who killed police officer? who burned checkpoints? who attacks kfor, eulex and kps?. This vuki is using the word " seperatism " because he is desperate to find a solution to punish prishtina. But you can´t do nothing against prishtina because the world have undertand that serbia have lost kosovo. The only way you can take back kosovo or at least try is to declare war.

It is a BIG lie. Even if Russia had managed to bring that to a vote, no veto was need it since Russia knew it, it did not have 9 votes out of 15.
Ruskies found out that the most they could get was 7 votes, therefore that does not make majority as you are claiming Wolfman.

The moves from Prishtina was mutual since it forced Serbia to accept the stamp of Kosovo. The very same stamp used for 3 years!

Serbia used unilateral moves by blocking goods from Kosovo for 3 years. This lead to the mutual reciprocity from Prishtina wich made criminal groups in Northern Kosovo to shot down police officers, burn down buildings and block roads.

The violence in North Kosovo was staged by some serb criminals wich have been idientified now by Eulex and KP. Soon they will be caught and put before justice.
