It's all about Tadic and Nikolic wanting to join the North Atlantic and European elite.

Because I live in the Serbian diaspora, Tadic does not make sense to me.
In order to please western foreign policy Tadic has handed over our military, that Serbs looked upon, not to be war criminals. That done, more western foreign policy pressure was put on Tadic. He continues to discuss joining EU which is on shaky ground and which give no guarantee to Serbia. Serbs are not against mixing freely with other groups in society - integration - so long as we Serbs know who we are! If Tadic takes away his own identity and he seems to be working very hard to do this, and the identity of the Serbian people, then what benefit is he giving them and himself! Tadic can play on words, but unless he values Serbia's sovereign territory, and its people, then he is sadly, just playing on words.

Tadic is just flapping his gums, that's all. Even the Serbian people that were interested in the EU no longer believe in that fantasy and all Tadic is trying to do is relight that candle.

The death knell for the EU was teh hnading over Mladic and Hadjic and absoluley NOTHING in return. It will take the EU officials about six to 12 months to realise what they have done, but its all irelevant as they will not be able to do a thing.

Why, what did you expect in return ? That's how it works in Serbia - if a Serb prosecutor issues an arrest warrant against a, say, thief the Serbian police does not arrest him or her unless it gets something in return ?!
