Just because the US and EU support you, for their own geopolitical reasons, does not mean you are a country. If the Serbs and the UN say you are, then you are. Regarding Ahtissari's plan, is anyone but the Albanians even talking about that garbage on papaer anymore? Get real, Enver!
(Winston, 2 September 2011 19:26)

Winston, as usual, you are absolutely right. Just because US and EU (actually, not the entire EU - just the large majority of it) consider Kosovo to be a country it does not mean that Kosovo is a country for Serbia. It is a country only for those countries which consider it as such. At least 109 countries considered Kosovo to be a country when they voted to admit it to IMF and WB. However, that does not mean that Kosovo is considered a country by Serbia.

As for the Antisaari plan, you are correct again - that is garbage paper that nobody needs anymore. Kosovo now operates in accordance with its UDI (which is in accordance with international law and 1244) and Kosovo's Constitution which is based on the UDI.

Leave your past behind and face reality, but there is little hope that this will happen if the Belgrade politicians continuously reenforce that kind of thinking. Serbia must find it's way back to European values, and part of it means that people in Serbia have to learn to reflect on their past and what they did in the 90's, and accept the realities on the Balkan. Kosovo is part of that reality.

Can someone tell me when this man talks about banning Serb goods because Serbia will not accept Kosovo’s exports, is he talking about a Kosovo on Jupiter or is he talking about the one in the Balkans.
Because if it’s on Jupiter then they may have something to export, but if it’s from the Balkans the only items they have to export is pure and utter BS; in fact it’s the purest form in the world.
Talk about a deluded people and what is even worse their Albanian population believes this rubbish.
Now for those interested in the real facts, these primitive people were set up by the US. Yes the US has it grubby fingerprints all over this fiasco. The US is so tired of this status quo that it tried to get these Albanians to use some form of force and even threw KFOR into this ill thought out action – typical Americans, one blunder follows and other.

"Serbs need to modernize their country and economy, Serbian politicians don’t realize they are freezing their entire country by trying to create a frozen conflict in northern Kosovo,” he (Enver) was quoted as saying.

What can you say about this stupid comment? Maybe you should look around you, dude, at the rat hole you live in, before you comment on Serbia. As for the Serbs in the North, they do not recognize your little UDI and want nothing to do with you thugs in Pristina. "The issue is that Milosevic discarded YU constitution and brought special police to Kosovo"

Thaci discarded Serbian constitution, proclaimed an own country, sent special police to the north. And if you are honest, the desire of most Albanians in Kosovo is to create an ethnic clean Kosovo (and one day, joining Albania). More similarities?

The YU constitution said that ethnic Albanians have less rights than other citizens? I don't believe that. Just like nowadays: In theory, on the paper, everything is fine, the reality is different: Discrimination, harassment by the police and ethnic hate.
(Comm. Parisson, 2 September 2011 15:18)

The issue is that Milosevic discarded YU constitution and brought special police to Kosovo. So if Milosevic gave Kosovo Albanians Athasari plan in 1998 or 1999 today we would not be talking about this but no he wanted Kosovo without Albanians and now we are talking about northern tip of Kosovo where only 60K people live and 450Million Euros being spend on them to stay there to push Serbias agenda not to loose face.

It's absolutely not like Milosevic cos if you remember we had no equal rights in Milosevics time and here the minority Serbs in Kosovo have more rights then the majority even though there is still little tension between Albanians and Serbs but the Serbs in all of Kosovo are ok now.

When asked whether he believed that Serbia had made positive steps toward normalization of relations, Hoxhaj said: “I am very concerned when I hear some Serbian officials talk about Kosovo and the region, I don’t know whether the year is 1999 or 2011”.

Just like I'm concerned when I hear politicians in Pristina talk about 'terrorists in the north', sending special police and similar operations that remind me of 'good old' Milosevic
