That's the problem. Albanians want to shut down the Serbian local institutions and to impose their pro-Albanian. Serbs are resisting it by protecting their human rights.

I'm sorry, but I don't think you read what I said. Let me repeat it: "Serbs have their local government there. Nobody is attempting to have some Albanians govern the local affairs of the Serb populated areas.". Why is it a problem to have Serbs govern their local affairs ?!

Remember NATO bombed Serbia because it threatened the human rights of Albanians in Kosovo. But now the Albanians threaten the human rights of Serbs in northern Kosovo. Albanians want to carry out their assimilation or expulsion. Serbs in northern Kosovo are ethnically grouped. They just require the local government. They are looking for a secure organization and territory governments to make sure that none of them can not assimilate or expel. Some Albanians are against it - just because they want to in the future expel Serbs and Albanians to settle there. Otherwise, nobody would bother Serbian autonomy of the North.

For once he's well dressed and looks official; most of the time he's running around like a chicken without her head.

I wonder if he can enter Kosovo without a visa?

The problem is not from the north in crime. Most of the population is plain as anyone else. There are small smugglers. In southern Kosovo is a major crime - heroin trafficking, arms trade. But it's not at all now crucial.

All of this process has nothing to do with the recognition of Kosovo. It is another matter. Here is a fight for human rights of the Serbian minority in northern Kosovo.

The only reason these talks are being held is to keep Hashim Thaqi free of the ICTY in Hague for war crimes. The biggest help for serbs is this criminal to stay in power in Kosova.

I don't think that serbia is ever been a stability factor in Balkan. When you don't have anything good to do, the best thing is to shoot up.

There is nothing wrong to ask from Albanians and Serbs to respect the rule of law. Serbs must declare clearly if they are going to support us to implement it or they still keep feeding the organized crime in the area.

The recognition of Kosovo is not decisive for Serbian EU future but it's influence is notabily important.
