"Relations between Serbia and Croatia are important"

This year on the occasion of the 16th anniversary of Operation Storm, the Serbian president said that it was "just" that the persons responsible for Operation Storm were at the Hague Tribunal. So rite well over 90% of the Serb criminals were and are in the Hague and Serving their criminal time in prisons all over Europe. Now the Serbs Serbia have to make restitution for all their criminal war aggression all over Ex Yugo. Return all the property Serbia stoled that belonged to all Yugo Republics. That it keeps dragging its feet and delaying to return it and dont get me started of a "Srpska".

Why doesn't your leader Jadranka return the apparment that she lives in to the Serb family your people kicked out, or perhaps even killed? It all about what Serbia owe to Croats, muslims, albanians, martians etc. You are denying the fact that Serbs are the biggest victims of this war. Not to mention how Serbs suffered under your puppet nazi regime in the 40s. Did Croatia compensate the families of the 600.000 Serbs murdered in Jasenovac by the ustashe? If not, why?

If you turned all that hatered for Serbs into something positive then perhaps you would become a better person.

How can you have "friendship" with people who want to kill you? When will Serbs ever learn: Croats are constant backstabbers - they always were and always will be.

CG so you think that Serbia should ban Croatian products / companies from operating in Serbia? Tell me do you have an estimate as to how many millions of euros would be lost through Serbian exports per year? Do you have an estimate as to how many Serbian jobs would be lost as a result of a Croatian ban on Serbian products / companies?

You would have loved it under Milosevic / Seselj. Its that kind of mindless emotion guided stupidity that got Serbia into the mess it is in today....

A similar language? A history of cross-border business co-operation (M-84 tanks, Yugo cars, etc)? Compatible businesses and sectors of specialty? Access to diversified markets through each other's networks? An equal playing field with each other? High growth rates of trade every year, even during a recession?

...Yugoslavia didn't work. But this can. What difference does "Storm" or "Kosovo" or whatever other choice words and connotations you want to use make when it comes down to money. If we were all a little bit smarter the Balkans could be an oasis of prosperity. To anybody who scoffs at my comment or makes any reference to the "neo-liberal imperialists", you are defeating yourself in your own head before anybody else ever could. It's a slave mentality get out of it.

Looks like the relationship is only important to the Serbs.

So Croats can insult Serbs but Serbs just have to suck it up.

These relations are more important to Croatia than to Serbia. Notice that Croatia is joining the EU, but that same paradise of happiness and eternal wealth is pushing the Croats to trade with Serbia like in the old days of Yugoslavia?

Let me paint that picture for you – as I have been saying for the last 3 years Croatia has come to the end of being funded by the EU and now it has to stand on its own two feet so its trading with Serbia. Now as Serbia is a much larger economy guess who has to kiss whose backside?

The Germans can’t help the Croats as there is rumour that Germany might get a downgrade in ratings. You see Germany over streched itself in trying to help out the rest of the EU.

No ,they are NOT important!
We have very small trade,and Croats would always stick a knife in our back the first time they would get the chance as they did countless times in the last century!
When will we Serbs finally learn,the lowest possible relations with Croatia are the best,ban their products from entering the Serb market and buy from Serb producers!
They are and they will stay forever our arch enemy!

Everything else is just unbelievable naivety from our part!
