Until actions taken are approved by both sides, there will be no peace in Kosovo.

Well, the fact that Serbia can't find peace with what happened to Kosovo, does not mean that Kosovo's citizen can't find peace, too !

Let's see if Serbia manages for once to stick to its guns. If it gets a majority condemning KFOR's behavior it will have a victory - even when the US vetoes it.
(Wim Roffel, 29 August 2011 19:49)
The UNSC speaks with resolutions and/or presidential statements. If Serbia gets one of the two condemning KFOR's behavior it will have a victory. Of course, if it doesn't, then it will have the opposite of victory.:)

After having worked in Kosovo (with both the UN and EU) for a period of more than five years then I believe that I am entitled to comment with some understanding of the situation.
I cannot understand as to how individuals can condone the actions of Pristina regarding ROSU and the actions relating to them taking over the Gates 1 and 31 at the "North of Kosovo". Unless this was action was agreed (sanctioned) with the International community/US state department, then the Kosovo Government should really take a look at themselves, realise what they performed was unacceptable and therefore stand down. It would appear that the situation in the north now is worse than it was in 2000. This may have something to do with the USA influence in Pristina at Gate 1/ North of the Ibar. Answers on a postcard please.

Let me refresh your memory: ' 22 western european countries recognized Kosova, and only 5 western eurpean countries recognize Serbia.
By the way, the african recognitions we need is only to add a nutch to our belt, since quality recognitions are already in our packet.
(Agim Kelmendi, 29 August 2011 19:01)
Only five recognise Serbia? I see that you went to the American University of some third world crap hole.
Don’t put too many notches otherwise your belt will give way and your pants will fall down.

Alright: Here is the opportunity for Europe, European union EU, united nations UN, and the whole world to understand typical Serbian mentality with violence from the past, and present, not just from their leaders, also even from the Citizens.
Since XIII centry Serb/Russian migration from Russia to Balkan on Illyrians soil for a better life and opportunity. They been trying to manipulate the History by false clams, and extinguish the history of a nation. All this is for playing the victim and innocent for crimes they have been committed over the years, over the century, and millennium, by expelling people from theirs native land, by executing people at mass murder, by massacring people to put fear in the region, by distraction of infrastructure so there is no conditions for living etc.
All this sorrow and pain that has been brought by these Serb people, is the fact of the mental illness, paranoia, the syndrome of side effect for the grate Serbia, and for a grate mother Russia. Since nothing ended as they wished, now they have been trapped in the endless tunnel that is impossible to recover from this mentality that is propelled from radical ultra nationalist parties.
Although there is the cure, the only cure who is willing to make the ultimate change, and propel these Serb people on the right path, which is the Liberal Democratic Party LDP which is run by the president of this party Cedomir Jovanovich. There is some percentage of hope on the next year on 2012 election that might awake these people from the joy ride dream.
I as Albanian from Kosovo, I tried to comment of my best knowledge
Thank you.

Another question is when we will finally see a big demonstration in Northern Kosovo. One of Bühler's and Thaci's key arguments is that the population in Northern Kosovo supports their actions. A mass demonstration is the best way to prove that incorrect.

That was a sarcastic comment, Agim. Are you here to comment, or insult? Which will not solve anything, but prolong animosities between Serbs and Albanians. Don't Albanians want peace with Serbia? If they do, then they must negotiate, and not act unilaterally. Until actions taken are approved by both sides, there will be no peace in Kosovo.

The statement condemns the Kosovo Albanian authorities for its use of force and demands the situation be reverted back to its original state.
I am glad that the whole world knows and did see who used force and/or violence. Once again FM Wolf will walk out of the session very disapointed, with exception of a big kiss from Gabon Ambassador.

"However, the minister noted that the Security Council would have to take a stand on this by the end of the year."
The UNSC does not have to do anything and Serbia definitely cannot dictate deadlines.
Unless Russia and China agree to Eulex conducting the investigation, there will be no action taken by the UNSC on the matter. Eulex has started the groundwork and the US, UK, and France are not going to vote to do other wise.
