Kosovo won’t change customs stamps, deputy PM claims

Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Hajredin Kuci says that Kosovo authorities will not agree to change the customs stamp at the next round of talks with Belgrade.

No deal that goes against Kosovos red lines!!!! Serbia should understand that Kosovo is a state and will behave as a state!!

I don't think Kosovo can tell Serbia what Serbia should or should not do. The only thing is that if Serbia does not accept Kosovo's stamps, Serbia's goods will not be allowed to be exported to Kosovo. If Serbia is fine with that, than there is no need for Serbia to accept Kosovo's stamps.

Sounds like Pristina doesn't want to negotiate at all. Even if they didn't want to give up the kind of stamp they have they should at least be prepared for some token changes. That is just basic politeness to keep the negotiations going.

The final status of the North is obviously about status. But when discussing energy or telecom you can't ignore that at the moment things are arranged differently in Northern Kosovo.

Sounds like Pristina doesn't want to negotiate at all. Even if they didn't want to give up the kind of stamp they have they should at least be prepared for some token changes. That is just basic politeness to keep the negotiations going.

The final status of the North is obviously about status. But when discussing energy or telecom you can't ignore that at the moment things are arranged differently in Northern Kosovo.
