Gaddafi will get out of Libya about as easily as Osama bin Laden got out of Pakistan and Sadam Hussein got out of Iraq.

Game over. Suicide (he will think martrydom) likely, unless grabbed first.

--There is no chance of Gaddafi taking asylum in Croatia as it is a NATO member and they wouldn't want him. He won't go to Serbia as Belgrade isn't stupid enough to allow him to take asylum. Serbia has already annoyed the West enough as it is. Also Serbia has worked so hard to capture fugitives wanted by the International Criminal Court, why would they want another fugitive indicted by the ICC? ...(Ian)

The ICC, which is where that murderous maniac needs to be, yesterday. these people, who just butcher anyone and everyone, their own people! hickelty pickelty, so they can stay in power. because they are... god? i think not. all freedom-loving people will celebrate his arrest/demise, and the arrest/demise of his fellow fascist dictators.

Doubt it, Serbia and Croatia have extradicted around 100 people between them to the Hague, Venezuela probably wont want the trouble, Cuba is probably the same and didnt he have a war with Chad? I'm going to guess Iran or Sudan.

HAHAHA such political bs that is swallowed by the stupid. Each one of those countries would give up Gaddafi in one second. The bbc hinted that Gaddafi is negotiating with Russia for asylum and that would make sense. Russia is the only country that could not be forced to give him up.

There might be a case of the West wanting some of these countries to take Ghadaffi to stop the war in Libya and finally have the spoils to Libya's wealth.

I for one hope he does come to Serbia. The Radicals and the DSS would openly welcome him..at the very least he would be listened too and that scares the ones running the show at the expense of the people.

Also btw it was the Scottish Parliament who allowed him to go home, not an English Judge.

Milosevic had no other options than succumb to NATO diktats, they where threatening, just like in Libya right now, to kill more civilians and they did. Gaddafi is past that. NATO mercenaries and their local rag tag clients, who have never been more than 2000 at the most, will go on killing for years or as long as it takes for the west to digest Libyans wealth. Gaddafi will stay leading what the west now will call "terrorists" but who really are -the Rebels.

Hey Ian,

Hey Ian,I bet if Gaddafi could choose, he would choose England and the same English judges that let his friend go home for a couple of cans of oil.

Got to keep them Rolls rolling and them Jags jaginass at ANY cost,eh Ian?
(got dengi?, 25 August 2011 15:57)

You know very well that Westminster will overturn things if it pleases to do so, they'll just come up with some BS or introduce a new law allowing them to do so. Not to mention that Judges wouldn't do anything which is against the public's interests *cough* LOCKERBIE!

Besides there is an interpol arrest warrant on his head; so if he turns up in England... BANG and straight he goes to the Hague where he will spend the rest of his life rotting in a cell.

Also btw it was the Scottish Parliament who allowed him to go home, not an English Judge.

Kosora can lease Gaddafi "her" apartment and then ask the Pope to tell God that the apartment belongs to a Serb.

I doubt Gaddafi would go to Chad, Libya and Chad were at war for nine years, so I doubt he'd want to go there. I doubt he'd go to Algeria as that'd not look good as the country is unstable enough already without allowing a murderous dictator taking asylum there. There has already been mass protests in Algeria, Gaddafi taking asylum there would just re-ignite the protests. There is no chance of Gaddafi taking asylum in Croatia as it is a NATO member and they wouldn't want him.

I think the only serious place listed for Gaddafi to take asylum is either Venezuela or their friends Bolivia and Cuba. They are the only countries who would want him too.
