The houses in the north or only 10% of the problem. The bigger problem (you know, 90% of the population) is the search of the houses in the south. Thats why it could take long. Does it make sense to stop 'smuggling' of food or fuel (which is more like buying goods in other parts of Serbia and selling them in Kosovo) and at the same time not stopping smuggling/trafficking of drugs, which is a much more serious problem. (...)and that's why EULEX/KFOR is not stopping drug 'business' in Kosovo.

This 10% figure confuses me a bit: There are 50.000 K-Serbs in the north; how did you come up with this percentage?
The drug smuggling is a joint Balkans enterprise (multiethnicity works!) and should be dealt with accordingly but that is a different story. The main topic is that the Serbs in the north have publicly displayed their criminal energy. Now neither UNMIK,EULEX nor KFOR can further ignore this problem without losing face. And as you might know this is not about food trafficking; this is about killing a police officer, attacking KFOR, illegal possession of firearms and so on!

My guess is: It's the same procedure as in Afghanistan: Without drugs, the whole country would collapse, since there is no other economy worth a mention. That's why NATO is not destroying opium fields there, and that's why EULEX/KFOR is not stopping drug 'business' in Kosovo.

"Not only Iv but the whole EULEX should leave they have proven just as inept as RUSMIK at combating criminals and war criminals in the north."

Then the whole 'KPS' (except maybe 10-20% who are doing their job correctly) should be dissolved, for being incompetent, corrupt, infiltrated by former KLA war criminals and supporting mafia groups in the south.

If EULEX wants to reach its goal to establish rule of law in Kosovo, fight the mafia structures and bring it to average European standards, the mandate had to be extended for another decade, at least.
