LOL Well there's other ways to describe the complete bungle Thaci caused, but it wouldn't get past the censors. But maybe here's a few others:

a) hit his head
b) fell on his arse
c) jumped the shark
d) completely f*cked up

However you want to call it, Thaci once again showed the civilized world what an idiot he his. Is that a better translation? Speaking of comic books, I'm amazed you diasporas still take what happens in Kosovo that seriously to scoff through internet comments. I laugh everytime this clown opens his mouth and says something :)

WOW another genius online; I’m surprised you were able to turn on the computer!!!!

Just as an FYI Mr/Miss “Balkan Athropologist”, if it wasn’t for the Albanian diaspora, then we would still be under your regime. We were smart enough to hire a great arbiter (USA) to resolve our issue, and just take a wild guess what the end result was?! Hmmm, a New Born.

We take it very seriously what happens in Kosova, each and every day; we have and we will, no doubt about that.

I truly doubt that you laugh on my comments, as they make much more sense then you statements.

Pls say it ain't so!!

C'mon guys let's do the right thing and stop trying to steal their land. We should just learn to get along with one another but respect the culture and identity of Kosovo as a part of Serbia in which it always has been.

I mean, just because our families once upon a time decided to move to Kosovo it doesn't really give us the right to start calling it KosovA and trying to change names on the map.. we should realise that the U.S.A have no real reason to support Albanians other than satisfying their own agendas. We should stop trying to become 'independent' and just accept the truth that the history of Kosovo belongs to Serbia so how can we ask for respect if we are stealing their land?

C'mon guys let's get smart about this and let the truth be told. Let's not let the US play with us like puppets while the rest of Kosovo suffers...
(Intelligent_Albanian, 20 August 2011 14:41)

Intelligent_Albanian!!!??? Not everything is intelligent about your comment, and its too darn obvious that you’re not Albanian, and far from being intelligent.
I agree that we all must learn to live together and respect one another’s cultures and identities, right on.
We call it KosovA, because that’s what that lands names is!! That’s how we spell it and pronounce it; plain and simple.
History of Serbia ‘in your head’ might belong to Serbia, but in ours not even close.
I’d like to claim Bora Bora as an Albanian island, but guess what? It isn’t!!!
USA is ‘playing’ its game and perhaps satisfying their agendas as you put it, but us Kosovars, rather play by their rules the yours.

But I do agree with one of your statements:
Serbian families did migrate to KosovA and were welcomed by Albanians back in time, now…… hmmmmmm!!!!!

Pls say it ain’t do!!!

get rid of these problems. each to their own.
(Dennis, 20 August 2011 14:13)

Dennis, interesting point of view, no doubt.

I totally agree that there are good and bad on both sides, but dividing accross ethnic lines!!??
That can easily open a new can of worms. I agree that that would be a quick solution to this problem, but considering that this is Balkans, and the fact that we would need many consesions from all sides, I do not see that happening anytime soon.

Between Serbs, Albanians in Kosova, Boshnjaks, Hungarians (in Vojvodina), Croats and Bosnians in RS, Albanians in Macedonia, I'd say that that project will fail from the get go.

If we couldn't get along while being ruled by a dictator such as Tito, what makes you think that this would work with these nationalistic heads that are ruling these regions at the moment? Just a thought!

Also, I don't think that the hard core nationalists, are only on each side of the river, they are spread across the board and that's what makes it difficult.

Your thoughts?!

Pls say it ain't so!!

Dean,

The definition of Body language is: A form of non-verbal communication, which consists of body posture, gestures, facial expressions, and eye movements.

Lets break this statement down for a second:

Non-verbal communication: Well its a picture;
Body posture: The guy looks solid;
Facial expressions: I don't see any;
Eye movements: Well it's a picture.

So to summerize my south Albanian friend, you based your judgement solely on the body posture. A very interseting way of judging people!!

As an FYI, if you base you're judging people primarily based on 'body posture' then I agree, you are right; the dude looks cool (I guess).

But if we were to use that attribute (body posture)to judge folk, then I don't see why Hitler, Sadam, Milosevic, Tito as well as your Ex president Hoxha, are not defined the same. They all look damn cool on most of the pics that I've seen.

Just curious, if you judge your women (or man for that matter) based on your so called 'body language'?

Analyst; not sure what exactly you're referring to, but if I were to guess, you might be talking about the elections in Kosova. If that's what you're alluding to, then I do agree with you, and I'm personally not happy with the choices that are made, but I truly doubt that you're proud of who's leading your end either.

I'm sure (or one can only hope that you agree), that the election processes in Serbia historically have not been fair and correct. No need to even mention the Milosevic and Kostunica era, where votes were stolen and media was fully controlled by their party members. Tadic seems to be a bit more open minded, but I'm sure he's under lots of pressure from the radical Serbs and not a big fan of Albanians. Both sides need to do their best to rid of these ignorant folk and move right along.

But then again, I guess we're forced to learn to live with this, until new generations take over the control of the goverments on both sides and change this primitive thinking.

As I've said earlier, the Kosovar 'elite' is not a gem either (with small exceptions), and I'm personally not fond of most of them.

Dennis, I second your motion; we (Albanians) do not need the venomous north either, unless we find a common language (which is far fetched!), based on the reality on the ground.

Neither side is willing to let go, I'm sure you're noticing that. And how can they come to an agreement, when both sides have elected individuals that can barely tie their own shoes, but on the other hand, act as they are God's gift to politics!!?

Neither side can be proud of the currently elected officials, and I say that for the so called Albanian 'politicians' as well; no gems indeed.

With the 'intellect" that they posses (zero to none), neither side can prosper and move forward.

Being that 'they' don't have any means of communicating with one another, can't we find a common language in this forum, and find away to agree upon some basic things?!

It's getting truly boring and redundant reading these comments day after day. I like this Web site and I think that B92 is relatively unbiased, hence my postings.

There are many smart comments/propositions being made here by both sides, but at the end of the day, there's always that inner hatred that
we cannot go pass by.

I'm personally open for any type of discussion, but cannot seem to find a way to do it.

When Peggy (one of the ladies that posts here)and I cannot find a common language (both living thousands of miles away from our homelands), then what can we expect from the locals?!
Every time I try to talk to her or make any comment, she reverse engineers it and comes up with ignorant comments.

Pls say it ain't so!!

pre 12 godina

Pls say it aint so, not all albanians are bad and not all serbiabs are bad. the thing is you have hard core nationalist on both sides at the ibar river. I think the rest of the Balkans should be split along ethnic lines and redraw the maps.
north kosovo to serbia, the valley to pristina, sandjak to bosnia RS independent or to serbia, i dont know what to say about macedonia. but untill MOST people are happy we are not going to
get rid of these problems. each to their own.

Yaaaawn! More of the same. As Pristina is slowly but surely taken control of the situation, the border, customs, and the north right with the assistance of Europe and the USA right under Serbia's nose. This guy is parading himself on tv alleging that Pristina is losing support. What a fool. And if you believe him, you're a fool too.

This guy has the diplomacy of a 6th grader. It's no surprise that Serbia hasn't gotten anywhere in YEARS. I do wish Serbia the best though. They are going to need it. They have fancy dressed clubbers dictating their foreign policy.

Pls say it ain't so!!

'Broke his teeth'!!!! Are you kidding me?
Is this how a so called 'Minister' expresses him thoughs?!
Man, Serbian politicians are in a dire need for some lectures on how to utter and express their inner feelings. I'm blushing just reading his comments.
How much more embarrassing and comical can this get? It's like a comic book.

"But it is obvious that he ‘broke his teeth’ in the attempt to take over the administrative crossings,” the Serbian minister was quoted as saying. "

This guy is smart, he really understands the situation.

To pls say it ain't so, the saying was probably lost in translation. Anyway it must have pissed Thaci the snake off real bad. Oh well I don't think Serbia really wants all of Kosovo just the northern albo-less part and soon we will get it.

"Neither side can be proud of the currently elected officials, and I say that for the so called Albanian 'politicians' as well; no gems indeed."

In case of Kosovo, please add some '' to the word 'elected', too - you cannot call this mockery that took place in December 2010 an election.

Pls say it ain't so!!

pre 12 godina

A typical female stance; My way or no way.

Oh, well!! There are many different way to skin the cat my 'friends',

Until then Cheers!!!!

Let's not let the US play with us like puppets while the rest of Kosovo suffers...

a) hit his head

c) jumped the shark
d) completely f*cked up

However you want to call it, Thaci once again showed the civilized world what an idiot he his. Is that a better translation? Speaking of comic books, I'm amazed you diasporas still take what happens in Kosovo that seriously to scoff through internet comments. Well,my friend,i am Albanian 2 and i have totally different opinion from you.I am from ''south Albania'' and i don't know any Serbian, however i think that Serbia’s Defense Minister has got a beautiful attitude that most of ''Politicians'' and ''Diplomats''in Ballkans,HAVE NOT.
He has the abbility 2 separate Passion from Politics.PASSION,is a much needed ''ingredient'' in Sports and Arts, but not neccessarly needed in Science,History,Politics....etc.,as u are always in danger of Manipulating ur own self and/or ur society. Here is a list of people who had the bad habit of mixing Passion with Politics:Adolf Hitler,Sadam Hussain........Sllobodan Milloshevic and more.
I have reached such a conclusion, judging Him by His ''body language'',nd it might be the case that i am wrong, because honestly,i don't know what are His views in politc, what He stands 4,is He Left or Right wing etc. However, some times First impression is the Last impression.
About ''fancy dressed clubbers',it is unneccessary, stupid argument 2 use.

Dean,

The definition of Body language is: A form of non-verbal communication, which consists of body posture, gestures, facial expressions, and eye movements.

Lets break this statement down for a second:

Non-verbal communication: Well its a picture;
Body posture: The guy looks solid;
Facial expressions: I don't see any;
Eye movements: Well it's a picture.

Pls say it ain't so!!!
