The Serbian position raises an interesting question. Without a doubt, Belgrade is well aware of the de facto independence of Kosovo. Serbian politicians also know this independence is longterm for two reasons:

a) The vast majority of the people in Kosovo will not accept reintegration into Serbia under any circumstances.
b) NATO's giving security guarantees to Kosovo.

Therefore, the reintegration of Kosovo into Serbia cannot be Belgrade's realistic goal. This leaves one question: What is the real goal? A reintegration of Northern Kosovo? A stronger autonomy for Serbs within an independent Kosovo? Or is it rather a symbolic maintenance of territorial claims in order to satisfy voters?

NO! Start mobilizing serbian civilians, definitely not the army, and descend on mass to Mitrovica and kick out NATO/KFOR.

Sorry, but that is for the UNSC (not Albanians or Serbs) to decide when to kick NATO out of Kosovo or portion of it...

The "talks" have only led to an upswing of problems and violence. It is unwise to continue them at all. Things were better before them.

Start mobilizing the army.....enough is enough. Serbia needs to rid itself of its occupiers who have occupied a soverign nation illegally.

Eventhough no one takes you ultranationalists seriously, NATO is in Kosovo not only through an UNSC mandate, the highest legal authority but also through an agreement signed Yugoslavia.
As far as the other poster with the peaceful protest, if it is peaceful it will not dispel NATO/Kfor forces the only way to do that is nonpeacefully in which case they have the mandate to use force if necessary to maintain order.

So,Aleks.

Where do we set the "batlefield",Serb civilians coming from north, and Albanian civilians coming from south.
Do the number of "civilians" has to mach for both sides?
What kind of armament will be used, pitchforks, baseball bats, shavels, stones,or what?Should everybody be drank in order to attend ?
and the winner takes it all, right?deal or no deal??

If the latter decide to show its 'values' and open fire on mass peaceful demonstrators, it will tear itslef apart. Not that there is much keeping NATO together. There's a new Fr-De proposal to open and NATO european office which the brits have sworn to veto.
