Nothing is final. It doesn't matter what some people say. It's only final when Serbia says it's final. Until then, Kosovo will remain no more than a territory of Serbia with some recognitions. I know this is hard for some Albanians and their supporters to understand or accept, but life isn't always easy. Finally, and I'll repeat this again as I have at other occasions, saying something is a fact doesn't make it occur. Magic is only good in fairy tales. Have a nice day.
(Daniel, 17 August 2011 18:57)

Of course you are right. It's going to be final for Serbia when Serbia says it is final. Similarly, for each of the other countries it will be final when each of them says it is final.

Now it seems that this is a clear political position that often turns out to be a bla bla bla

Let's hope that Ceku's meeting in pentagon this week will bring the beef.

" I dare any US official to publicly say that they do not recognise Serbia in its internationally recognised borders."
(Teslavio, 17 August 2011 16:46)

Calm down dude.. No need to dare anybody (and they would not care anyway about your dare). USA already recognizes Serbia in its current borders and Kosovo in its current borders, each as independent and sovereign.

Don't fool yourselves, what Mr. Reeker said is exactly what the West thinks, and if Serbia ever wants to be part of the western societies, it better takes this comment very, very seriously. Change is what is needed in Serbia, a drastic change in the entire value system, in the way people think and their governemnt acts. If that doesn't happen very soon, the doors to the European Union and to any Western alliance will remain closed.

I regard it as conceivable that some of you who are critical of Americans could make exceptions for those Americans and perhaps feel that these Americans show "common sense"(if you will) if they condemn or denounce Kosovo's proclaimed sovereignty.Guess what? In my opinion if there are Americans who disapprove of Washington recognizing Kosovo's sovereignty,to me and certain others,it's their problem. Also,if some of my fellow Canadians are unhappy about Ottawa recognizing Kosovo's "status" that too would be their problem as well. To sum things up or simplify matters I personally don't care if there are some Americans even some Canadians who don't want Kosovo to be declared independent, besides,I trust that they are not supposed to have the power to force their respective governments to change their minds.

No, you have it wrong Mr US official of whatever. Serbia is independent and sovereign state and has the right to establish the rule of law on its entire territory, including the South. Unlike Kosovo, Serbia is fully recognised by every UN member state including your beloved US of A. I dare any US official to publicly say that they do not recognise Serbia in its internationally recognised borders.

I follow news and comments on B92. Frankly I don't mind either camp what they say, however it is amazing to read serbian camp denying the undeniable.

It reminds me of Iraqi Government and military spokesperson during the invasion of Iraq, Muhammad Saeed al-Sahhaf or as he is better known as Comical Ali.

He is best known for his grandiose and grossly unrealistic propaganda broadcasts prior to and during the war, extolling the invincibility of the Iraqi Army and the permanence of Saddam's rule. His announcements were intended for an Iraqi domestic audience subject to Saddam's cult of personality and total state censorship, and were met with widespread derision and amusement by Western nationals and others with access to up-to-date information from international media organization.
After my comment, serb camp, read again your comments and tell me you don't agree with me?

All the best, the more comedians the better for the entertainments sake

This is about the rule of law, and that is the key, fundamental concept not only here, but in the whole Europe," Reeker said following the meeting with Kosovo Albanian Prime Minister Hashim Thaci.
Mr.Reeker i know you won't read my comment, just in case anyone think like you i must say :whole Europe include Serbia, rule and law is Serbian rights is well!

With statements like these its no wonder America is involved in so many wars. In the short term the Americans may get what they want in Kosovo but believe me Serbs will never forget who Kosovo really belongs to. Our ancient homeland is under occupation. If we waited 500 years for the turks to leave, then waiting for the american hypocrits to leave will be no match. Kosovo will become a new Palestine. There will never be peace. Albanians and America should know that.

I can assure you that they are committed to the rule of clan law and welfare of their buddies, clan members and relatives who are provided with well payed government jobs or benefit from public expenses. That's all they care for - except for the 'welfare' of their main business (smuggling, drug trafficking and so on) of course, which shouldn't be disturbed by some EULEX investigators
