I can only agree with Marty. Yes, there are still enough people left who consider this criminal a hero. But: Serbia got rid of this dictator and is destructive policy years ago, fortunately. This 'cleaning process' in politics didn't happen in Kosovo yet, unfortunately. The chance was wasted during the last 'elections'
(Analyst, 13 August 2011 13:04)
As in every revolution of the world the leaders that helped to gain indpendence or regime change are chosen as the initial leaders of the new country. They are seen as heros. is General George Washington became the first US president, he was also regarded as a criminal by the British.
It will take some time before political leaders can arise that can lead Kosovo into the future.
But going from Milosevic to Kostunica was not much more than a hat change, and I would not say that Serbia has totally cleansed itself. It will for quite some time be indanger of returning to the same ultranationalist mindset that gave Milosevic his power.

OL the other kids called their big brothers and aside from a spanking, got told to take their toys and go back to Pristina. A lot of good it did them relying - once again - on someone else to give them what they can't get on their own. They have an even less of a chance sticking their nose in the north now than they did before - which was barely existent to begin with, despite the usual claptrap coming from Thaci and Rexhepi about so-called "parallel institutions" and "lawless blah blah" :) You can't sound defiant when your "big brother" keeps you on a leash.

You people sound like kids on the playground. But the truth is that NATO is the security force of Kosovo. You notice everyone denied planning the event but they were ready to swoop in at a moments notice, do you really think they were not pre warned and did nothing to prevent it, why, because they knew it had to be done. NATO could not move up and commandier the posts, that would have been condemned as taking the Albanian side, but thanks to the predictability of the Serbs they were able to move in. This way the only status neutral way is to stop the flow of commercial goods. To allow them through would be supporting Serbia, to check for Serbian stamps would support Kosovo, to stop all commercial goods is "status neutral". The bottom line is Pristina got what they wanted to stop the flow of commercial goods across the 2 borders. As long as goods were allowed to flow freely across these borders any boycott was mute. And with NATO allowing any humantarian aid SErbia cannot play the starving victim and medical emergency card they so often play.
If Serbia would quit being such a Drama Queen they might accomplish something. Everytime a little old Albanian woman throws a rock at a bus Serbia starts crying "ethnic cleansing" You are trying to equate cutting illegal phone lines, people yelling slurs etc, with how did Marty put it in his report--

Could the Serbs and their cheerleaders please for once make up their mind? Here we have one claiming that "they (the K-Albanians) have an even less of a chance sticking their nose in the north" and in another report on B92 we have those:"Concerned about the fate of this part of the province, four north Kosovo municipal presidents sent a letter to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon yesterday, requesting protection from Kosovo officials’ announcement that they will integrate north Kosovo by force and that they will bring Albanian customs officers and policemen to the administrative crossings once KFOR troops have withdrawn."

"No chance" vs. "we are so afraid"?

Hey how is the US going? Do you want more information on how well its doing. Let me know and I’ll post it for you – you wanted evidence from me then have a look at your financial mess- Oh how are the French going eh?
Here is your list of junk bond states in the EU:
Greece, Spain Ireland, Portugal, Italy, France then its goes Belgium, Denmark, Norway. The UK is worse then all of these.
You see what’s happening in the UK – wait till it hits the US and if you’re nice I can even give you a time and date when it will implode.
Don’t worry about what is happening in Kosovo as the Serbs control it all mate and the so called NATO will not lift a finger.
WE will NEVER LET KOSOVO GO even if it costs us everything – we hate thieves.
Who9 tells you that Serbs politicians need a visa to enter in Serbs areas? Yeah that’s right – you people would believe anything that Pritina trash tells you people.
I know that your Albanians wish some of their people had the same guts as Serbs but you have nothing except criminals and cowards. Look even the common NATO soldiers sympathize with the Serbs and many look on Albanians in disgust.

Especially given that over there is over 50% unemployment (western managed figures & in reality closer to 75%) in Serbia's UN recognised province and those who are "employed" are more than likely only employed on the basis of family (mafia) connections including US dictated decisions on choice of PM & President alike. Nothing is produced of any value, even the majority of food is imported as is almost everything else and while some survive on ever dwindling remittances from family abroad the likes of Thaci and co get considerably more wealthy with bigger cars.

As long as there are Serbs living in Kosovo and as long as Serbia doesn't recognize this banana state then Kosovo is Srbija. As long as there are Serbian monasteries and churches still standing in Kosovo and the graves of our loved ones remain under KFOR protection then Kosovo is Srbija. Last time I checked this was the case which would indicate that Kosovo is Srbija. A few recognitions doesn't change the facts on the ground.
(MikeC, 12 August 2011 16:06)

As long as Jeremic has to go to the UNSC to beg Kosovo is NOT Serbian.
As long as no military, police, paramilitary can cross the border without permission Kosovo is NOT Serbian.
As long as Serbia complains to the EU, EC, UN and any international organization that will half listen-Kosovo is NOT Serbia.
As long as Kosovo can prevent Serbian goods from crossing the border-Kosovo is NOT Serbian.
AS long as Serbia must visit every country on the planet and plead for them NOT to recognize Kosovo as Independent-Kosovo is NOT Serbian.

Wow. . .the Albanian peanut gallery has really expanded since I've been gone.

So let me get this straight. . .an armed incursion to provoke Serbs is met with resistance and repelled successfully with one terrorist casualty and its met with an immediate proclamation of "there will be an inquiry" by the Western sponsors of the Albanians.

Yet the deaths of Serbian teenagers, Serbian farmers, the destruction of Serbian churches and an organ theft scandal (first uncovered by multiple international observers. . .for those skeptics) is met with complete indifference by these same Western hypocrites.

How much more humiliation will the Serbian people endure? The Serbian government continues to want to be a part of a nation of countries that despise us so much. . .SO MUCH. . .that they would rather support a clan-based "government" comprised of former bouncers and other uneducated criminals with ties to Jihadist terrorists!

Wake up, Serbia! It's time for the traitors in Beograd to go!

We need a government to tell these Albanian provocateurs and their Western masters that violence will be met with violence!

N Kosovo is turned in crime paradise comprising all kind of criminal and mafia elements filled also with Russian mercenaries as reported by a German channel television. That is why all want this paradise to be dismantled. Ridiculously now we see Serbs vs. Serbs. Some times ago someone from Serbian government said the problem in N Kosovo is resolved and today it is the opposite. Furthermore Serbs seem to not trust neither to KFOR, nor to EULEX, KPS or whoever is in charge. The only solution is based on Russian or Chinese involvement.

I would not worry if I was a suspect in this case anyway. UNMIK, EULEX, KFOR, and KP all have a record of not doing much when it comes to solving murders and serious cases. Last I checked they had not done anything with the last time the gate was burned, or solved the murder of the 12 Serbian farmers, made any arrests in the 2004 pogrom case, the Gorazdevac case... the list goes on.

Similarly, Thachi has not been arrested by these groups, nor has Haradinaj, Ceku, etc. Limaj has not seen a prison cell nor has Pacolli yet all belong there too.

Completely agree with first comment - let us not forget that de Marhnac is nothing more than anti-Serbian as witnessed by with his comment in 2007 - the Serbs will face a "biological solution and simply disappear" and now he is involved enforcing this openly - Tadic is also the disgrace as Serbia's President (some might add "Western stooge/poodle/sell-out/Judus) for letting in EULEX and lying that the EU does not demand Kosovo or EU when this is now obvious and the continued lies that Serbia has "no alternative to EU" when there is always an alternative be it more difficult or not.

Tadic and DyeS to all that EU demands can no longer hide the stench of deceit that they have created it's time to step aside and let Serbia move forward to a principled future for ALL of Sovereign Serbia in Whole World not just Europe Onion.

Only hard work and determination can propel Serbia forward not the EU - look at Ireland, Spain, Portugal and Greece - how has membership of EU helped these nations - it only ensured what on the face of it is an economic catastrophe while Germany alone seems to be gaining!

Everytime a little old Albanian woman throws a rock at a bus Serbia starts crying "ethnic cleansing" You are trying to equate cutting illegal phone lines, people yelling slurs etc, with how did Marty put it in his report--
"In the Kosovo conflict, the ethnic Albanian population suffered horrendous violence as the result of an insane ethnic cleansing policy on the part of the dictator then in power in Belgrade. None of these historical events could be cast in doubt today."

The Serbians of Kosovo know what hardship is when each day they strive to maintain the heart of Serbia and all that it means to be principled - its time this D yeS to all that EU demands govt moved on - bring on the elections!!!

This too will pass.

Wow. . .the Albanian peanut gallery has really expanded since I've been gone.
