Serbs in Kosovo demand reaction from UN chief

The presidents point out that they were legally elected by the citizens who refused to participate in elections organized illegally by the provisional institutions in Priština, and who gave them the mandate to act in accordance with the Constitution of Serbia.

Serbian constitution has been violated by Serb politicians over and over again, and these four phantom Mayors are talking about the constitution of another country that has no bearing in Kosova. Good luck with your complaint.

Hey Serbs, leave UN alone for crying out loud. UN is busy helping poor Somalians.

Someone please give a world map to these four "Presidents" and help them understand their situation in a broader picture before they ask for the attention of the UN Chief.
Because let me tell you if I were a Somalian or a Iraqi, or a Kurd, or "you name it", I'd be very much insulted if the UN Chief would spend even a minute of his time over this.
And wait until the other four "Presidents" of the same territory send their own letter to New York. Oh the Balkans!

Which means under UNSC 1244 they are "illegally elected" and the UN has no authority to even hear their requests. the constitution of Serbia has never been considered the law of Kosovo since 1999, by anyone.

If evryone was follow resolution 1244 there will be totally defferrent situation,after 9 mounths 1000Serbian police will be there,but right now there is nothing legall, i am sorry for Somaly people,for Kurds...and i don't won to be sorry for my people in Kosovo,that's why UN should react before is to late.

Yes, the UN should condemn the violence of armed serb thugs. Should condemn the blocking of free movement by armed serb thugs. Should condemn the threat of violence posed to serbs by armed serb thugs. Should condemn the govt. of serbia for encouraging serbs to act as human sheilds for armed serb thugs.

doesnt matter what serbs do, the serbian constitution was authored AFTER they already lost kosovo ... first by a lunatic and madman, then by "innocent" and misuderstood serbs who , despite there claims of not liking unilateral decisions... rewrote the serb constitution while never having held kosov and without the permission, input, or participation of ANYONE in kosovo including kosovo serbs.

meaningless especially when it comes to kosovo.

For their information, the UN Chief reacted already about 2 weeks ago by saying that the solution should be in line with Resolution 1244.

And those up to 1000 personnel would be
1. Acting as a liason with both UNMIK and EULEX personnel(another term for language assistants)
2 Marking/clearing mine fields.
3.Maintaining a "presence" at patrimonial sites.
4.Maintaining a "presence" at key border crossings.

And maintaining a presence in no way infers controlling, working in conjunction of other personnel.
They would be most resourceful in marking/clearing minefields as they placed most of them.

I am amazed how this article avoids the real news in the petition. According to it "Mr. Bühler said [in an official statement] that he will deploy all of the KFOR soldiers, EULEX and Kosovo Albanian Police to the north."

Where did you find the 1000 in 1244 ? 1244 speaks about an "agreed number"; unfortunately there is not an "agreed number" so far

Guys, please satisfy the curiosity of many readers of these forums who have been asking for years to see the Serbian version of 1244 because we see continusoly references to words in 1244 which don't exist in the English version.

Indeed the English version says nowhere, I quote, "KOSOVO will still be part of SERBIA"

Security Council would be writing one of the darkest pages
of its history" and "be instrumental in a de facto dismemberment of a
