Ian - I was born here and im proud to be british... just to remind you my comment was about albanians drug smugglers and all other albanian criminal activites well known here and in the whole world so its nothing to do with my spelling,I am glad that you learnt my language all you have to do is to accept the truth not talking rubbish around here which is not british mentality... very soon all british will learn the truth I mean the differnce between albanians and serbians... I wish you luck in this lesson aswell
(nickole, 10 August 2011 12:20)

Yet again a poor use of the English Language, misspelling 'activities', 'difference' and "as well'.

Ok I get it, you dislike Albanians in Britain. But why bring this up? Are all these rioters across England Albanian? No they are not. I dare say one or two of the rioters might be Albanian. I don't see what your dislike for Albanians has to do with the article at hand. It is completely irrelevant. What do Albanians have to do with this news article? Nothing!

What I don't understand is why would a so called 'British person' like you out of the blue start commenting about their dislike for Albanians and their like for Serbs on an article about rioting and looting across England?

Yes I'm fully aware that there are Albanian gangs operating in London, however there are also Somali gangs, Russian gangs, Jamaican gangs, British gangs, Irish gangs, Jewish gangs, Chinese gangs, Nigerians gangs, Indian gangs, Arabs gangs, Muslim gangs, Italian gangs etc. Why would you just single out Albanians randomly on an article which has nothing to do Albanian criminals?

You're proud to be British? I'm not, look at what is happening across the country. If anything I'm embarrassed to be British!

If this civil war continues, then the world will need humanitarian intervention and bombing in Britain. The world has the right to protect "innocent" bystanders to this unrest. After a UN force has taken control of Britain and stopped the violence, peacekeepers need to occupy Britain for an indefinite amount of time to provide security under Security Council Resolution 4421. Those peacekeepers will be called UKFOR or BFOR and will be comprised of Chinese and Russian soldiers.

(JohnBoy, 9 August 2011 19:27)
While I did find your satire amusing, you do realize it will never happen, right. You will never see peacekeepers in the UK just like none of the Chinese actions nor Russian has seen peacekeepers. While members of the UNSC are free to criticize they can never take action against any of the 5.

Tut tut! And they have neither been bombed by NATO, attacked by their neighbors or betrayed by their own government! What savages. It makes the Serbs look like the model of restraint.

DIDO!
You should also compare teeth and Really see what kind of savages they are. I rather French kiss a hyena after munching on maggot infested roadkill than smoke or eat from the same bowl with savages. I'm scared to death from the mouth rotting yellow and brown teeth fevers.

On another note I was in Kracow this week and went to visit Auchwitz and noticed that the information on the German involvement in Yugoslavia had been removed- anyone know why?
(Diana, 9 August 2011 21:56)

We who expose daily Nazi activities, especially in Croatia know why, that's why we call for Nazism and Fascism to be destroyed and extinguished for all times the next time around!!!

I went to see a medicine man about a year ago and this is what he told me: There is a man riding on a big bear that was sent by the four winds of Universe that will soon arrive to take his rightful place. In his second coming things will happen and things will change in a manner of which was never imagined in recent history.
He also said that those that worship the symbol that looks like whirling logs will be humiliated and set back for a long time. The old medicine man also saw in his visions the man riding the bear rip of a finger from another man's hand and shoved it in that man's behind--just for shaking it to close to his face. The medicine man said that the man riding the big bear did that so quickly that it blurred his vision and got him swimmy-headed,so he called it the day. Before we parted company he did add something very interesting and encouraging: he said that he often sees in his visions the man riding on a big bear-he said that he will become the biggest little man in white man's history.

The cowardly "English" refuse to defend their homes, women or selves. But they can lecture the Serbs on surrendering Kosovo. Cowards like the "English" clowns that provide amusement on this site have nothing serious to say. Watching you get beaten, robbed , stripped and raped on your own streets by non-Europeans is the obvious result of your politically-correct liberal spirit. And...you...can't...hide it. You may lecture the Orthodox peoples on nothing. Please just shut up and crawl away.

Claiming that all this is due to 'underinvestment in youth' and all the rest of it doesn't wash. The vast majority of the UK's working class youths deplore this criminality and aren't taking part. And the UK is somewhere where, if you want to, you can get a good enough education for free, to go to university (also for free, depending on your circumstances), and a good enough degree to get a decent job. Sadly, many choose not to. Also, London's economy has recovered from the recession strongly: there are jobs there for people who want them (though slightly fewer now...)

What is also clear, much to the disappointment of B92's non-Serbian speaking readership, I'm sure, is that while age, location and perhaps socioeconomic situation correlate to the profiles of the rioters, race and/or nationality (after adjusting for aforementioned factors) almost certainly don't. Incredible - but inevitable, I suppose - that Albanian-Serb accusations should start flying back and forth in discussion of a matter that has nothing to do with either.

Finally, the UK police are exceptionally professoinal. The TINY number of regrettable mistakes in the past (de Menzes, Tomlinson) were just that - regrettable mistakes. No sensible copper shoots a man for no reason; they make a very difficult decision under very difficult circumstances. Whatever is determined concerning Mr Duggan's death, the UK population is united in its belief that the initial rioting was a deplorable reaction - and that subsequent rioting has nothing to do with it.

The UK isn't perfect. But people vote with their feet. Few countries see so many people want to come and live there (the rest are also either Western European or "Anglo-Saxon" and other free, liberal, market-based countries). Explain that.

Diana

pre 12 godina

LOL John Boy and of course you are absolutely right- I would go further and suggest that the international community recognises these 'freedom fighters' as the legitimate government of the UK!! (nickole, 9 August 2011 17:05)

It's not just your spelling which makes me think that you're not British, it's your grammar too; it's horrendous. Some of your sentences don't make sense and they don't read right either. What do you mean by "we were not involved during the history" (sic)? That sentence does not make any sense whatsoever. What is "the history"?

I don't look up every word in a dictionary, I just know how to spell because I was taught how to do so at school. You can't even spell the word dictionary never mind look up a word in one.

How can you not know what fascism is? All British people learn about World War Two and Fascism at Primary/ First school. It is part of the basic school curriculum which is taught in every British school. It is not even considered advanced history, it is considered basic history.

I can tell by both of your comments that English is not your first language. If English is your mother-tongue then I'm a Martian!

Let me ask you a quick question which any British person can answer because Brits speak English. Which of the following is the correct spelling?
A: Center
B: Centre

Is it A or B?

Easy question.

This is just the beginning. Every European country will go through this. They didn't want people from Balkans, instead they wanted Africans.

bganon

pre 12 godina

Zoran the reason the protest in the UK occured in the first place are to do with a(nother) black man that was shot and killed by police.

First they said he shot at them, then they said he did not but was apparantly holding a gun. The family of the victim were ignored by the police so they organised a peaceful protest which turned violent. The rest is history.

The underlying causes of the protest are threefold - social exclusion, poverty and police abuse of their powers - particularly since 9/11, but also concerning a number of high profile cases of police injustice.

The hooliganism in Belgrade was for what? You tell me?

So you have an understanding of these "hooligans" in England but you have a dislike for the "hooligans" in Serbia? In both cases the respective governments have neglected these "have-nots" and it is no surprise we see rioting in the streets.

Essentially, they have put their interests elsewhere instead of locally. It is the law of attraction, like attracts like, and when someone spreads death and destruction it also attracts it back home.

Zoran

pre 12 godina

This is what happens when a nation neglects its people and uses their money to spread death and destructions abroad, all in the name of geopolitical interests. You only have to walk the streets of some London boroughs to see the decline within the community. I am not surprised at all.

With this current "no alternative to EU" sell-out government in place, Belgrade is heading in the same direction. Yesterday we had Bogdanović admit "In the past 12 years, I have had the misfortune of taking part in all these discussions to solve problems, and always, or most of the time, those from the international community would trick us". However, trying to pin the cause of the riots on the shooting of an individual is a superficial reason which ignores the foundamental divisions within Brirish society-those of the haves and have nots.

Alongside a number of high profile cases on injustice that the police was involved in thats is a key point for me, its easy for reactionary views to stating that martial law should be imposed. Its important to understand why and perhaps (yes!) to even try to build a fairer society.

When will Cameron and other politicians take responsiblity for what is going on in the societies they rule? And when will the likes of Cameron wake up? It sickens me that so many people are capable of leading their lives in a bubble and selectively ignoring honest truths that are not pleasant to look at.

Leonidas

pre 12 godina

The events in London and other UK cities in the last three days show that the police have abandoned policing. They are effective against student demonstrators who can be bullied and beaten into giving up their political right to demonstrate against the trebling of tuition fees. However against armed and violent criminals they have almost no response. A major part of the problem can be traced to a deliberate abandonment of many city areas to thousands of lawless gangs.

However, trying to pin the cause of the riots on the shooting of an individual is a superficial reason which ignores the foundamental divisions within Brirish society-those of the haves and have nots.

I think the underlying causes of the fragmentation of British society lies squarely with the Tories elected 32 years ago which systematically looted, pillaged, and squandered Britain's national assets, institutionalised unemployment, and sold its people off like cattle to foreign investors. After Seventeen years in power the Tories legacy was millions on sickness benefits, an entire generation without substantial skills and a vocational training programme offering No Value Qualifications. It left an out-of-control financial sector motivated by gambling addiction and rapacious greed, and a housing sector beset by staggering inflation as owners played dice with the roofs over their heads.

And then they had eleven years of Blair and New Labour consolidating the damage and waste that they inherited and also adding the cost of their illegal wars.

With Britain burning "call me dave" and his Liberal poodles are jetting in from their swanky holidays abroad, while most of the people can't afford to travel *within* Britain to visit our family and friends.

My guess is this lot on the streets haven't even got started and god help all the Brits when they do.

Andy UK

pre 12 godina

I'd like to say that this is a reaction to all the cutbacks and the Tories policies, but it isn't.

Gangs have co-ordinated their efforts to attack the police and more importantly to them, loot shops. Stealing trainers and big TVs is not a protest.

It sparked on Saturday and the police are playing catch up.

The areas most of the riots are in were bad enough before, but they are going to be desolate after this, with no investment and barely any shops. Soft policing policy (not the police's fault), weak sentencing and letting gangs get away with it for years has led to this, not politics.

By the way do you think this is the right news item to express your devotion to Kostunica? I can only imagine how Kostunica would fiddle if Belgrade was burning this much under his watch. He makes Cameron seem really in touch, which is saying something!

BN

pre 12 godina

By the way do you think this is the right news item to express your devotion to Kostunica? I can only imagine how Kostunica would fiddle if Belgrade was burning this much under his watch. He makes Cameron seem really in touch, which is saying something!

What this article fails to mention is that many of the protestors are Serbs or are payed by serbian state officials in the London Embassy. The blgd regime should be held fully responsible for this attacks on the civil society in London.
Its time that we (the international community) stops blgd facists once and for all for all trouble they are causing in other countries, including my beloved Bosnia and Kosova.

As much as I like and respect the British people--despite the mistakes that they have made over and over against the people of Serbia--I do admit that at times I wished your phantasy were true, but the good and informed people of England know better, and I venture to say that they might even get a chuckle when reading your desperate, evil and ambitious mind. You are one repugnant human being Roberto, and your role as the leader and organizer of the Albanian posters couldn't be more perfect.
And I'll go even further and venture to say that the only people who still read your posts are Albanians and ignorant Serbs who love pain.

im pure British born here NO other Background in me or my family, Im sorry I havnt heard of (fascism) before I read albanian and serbian history because we were not involved during the history, im glad your looking in dictonary and I am glad you got nothing wrong with my comment because everyone knows its the truth. spelling mistakes happens to english people because we are not looking in dictonary for every word like you do. thanks!

While I did find your satire amusing, you do realize it will never happen, right. You will never see peacekeepers in the UK just like none of the Chinese actions nor Russian has seen peacekeepers. While members of the UNSC are free to criticize they can never take action against any of the 5.

I saw Cameron on tv just now telling those on the streets that they are not only ruining the livelihoods of others, but they are ruining their own lives. Will somebody tell this idiot born with a golden spoon in his mouth that their lives are already ruined. People do not burn and loot if they have jobs, if their lives are productive. They have nothing to lose.

When will Cameron and other politicians take responsiblity for what is going on in the societies they rule? And when will the likes of Cameron wake up? It sickens me that so many people are capable of leading their lives in a bubble and selectively ignoring honest truths that are not pleasant to look at.

These rioters are mostly muslim, just like you are and your muslim brothers in Bosnia.
(Hank the Tank, 9 August 2011 15:53)

What makes you think they're Muslim? A majority of the Afro-Caribbean rioters are Christian. And the whites who are rioting will be Christians or Atheists. Not to mention that a lot of the British-African rioters are Christian too.

Oh yes. Lets not find excuses for these disenfranchised, socially immobile youths who the state has failed.Cameron should lock them all up for several years!!He should withdraw more funding from schools-( EMA) is already abolished- and use it to train more riot police!! They shoot down those Motherf****ng hoodies,as some Tories demanded today.

No kneejerk reaction can make up for years of under-investment and dangerous lack of assistance and then the sudden attack on the welfare state in the last year while politicians and bankers sat back and let the cash roll in to their pockets .

BN

pre 12 godina
