This so called operation storm gets better at the telling each year. The fantasy coming out of some of these Ustahe is amusing to say the least.
How was Knin “liberated” by Croatian forces? For those that don’t know it was by agreement – Milosevic agreed to withdraw the JNA and what was left was some locals and women and children. Once the JNA withdrew the Croat forces went into action and NOT BEFORE!!!!!!!!!!
The Croat forces had to disband a couple of days later as Croatia could not sustain such a large number of people in uniform.
Croatia could not use those forces to attack the Serbs in Bosnai because they could not sustain such an assault – you have to supply your troops and Croatia could not maintain that effort, and even today it does not have the means to carry out such an operation. Look Croatia closes it bases over Christmas; not because they are religious but it’s too expensive to keep them open.
For Croats to enter Bosnia would have been unthinkable as it would have forced Milosevic to launch an all out assault on Croatia from the east and he would have been at the gates of Zagreb within 2 days.
I hate to burst you deluded bubble but it was done in agreement just like Bosnia – for years the Bosnians were losing territory and after the Dayton was signed all of a sudden they were on the offensive and took back 50%.
What awaits Croatia is something more difficult and that is compensation for Serbs homes destroyed. The majority of Croats don’t know what their government has signed in regard to this. If they don’t not live up to their part of the bargain then Brussels will set up a tribunal that will look after this matter and they will not be gentle about it.

I didn't rationalize anything and tastes certainly are different. Here's the usually defence, the world doesn't like us. Serbia is a speck on this globe and most could not care less about the Balkans let alone Serbia. It's funny how so many talk it up in the English comments section but when reading comments in the Srpski section I notice intelligence. Comments from the diaspora?....I think so. Like I said whinging hypocrites.

Give me a break. If Serbia celebrates any military victory, the people celebrating are branded nationalistic hooligans and neo-nazis by the Western media (hell, even their own media). You only get to celebrate this day because the West allows you to. Operation Storm was no less a war crime than Srebrenica or any other act of genocide/ethnic cleansing committed during the war by any side. You can rationalize it as a feat of military brilliance if you want, but that doesn't make it such. It was a heinous war crime through and through.

So what if they celebrate it. Every country celebrates something another country disagrees with and there have been many such events in the balkans. It is true that +200,000 were cleansed from Krajina but a large number were also cleansed from Republika Srpksa in BiH. Tough talking comments....yeah right, just a bunch of whinging hypocrites.

Funny , seems all the haters commenting here are the ones who started the wars in YU and lost. Everyone else seems to think 'Storm' was just , and from a military stanpoint , carried out brilliantly.

Lets be honest here , any strategy that is today studied in military colleges around the world - (and yes that does in include Serbian) speaks volumes about its success. It liberated occupied territory , and restored the balnce of power in the Balkans , thereby leading to the Dayton accord and establishment of RS.

Say what you will and believe what you want , even as you fantaists continue with your 'perma victim' and self glorification xenoaphobia , the reality is , that indirectly RS actually exists today because of "oluja". Do you honestly believe you could actually ethnically cleanse Croatia , Bosnia ,and later Kosovo ( and any other land in your 'greater serbia' lie without consequence).

The balance of power needed to be redressed in order force any peace and be legitimised by the peoples of the region. The simple truth is that the west actually forced the Croats to demobilise 5 days post "storm". Given the animosity towards the Serbs in the region at the time , Im sure that if were up to some of the Cro leadership , 'storm' would have ended only when the chequerboard flew proudly over Belgrade , and theres is every chance we would still be witnessing the Balkan tragedy today.

Here is a mental challenge for you. Think where the region would be today if there wasnt an "oluja" and the staus quo of pre 1995 was in effect. Let me assure you - not even the citizens of Belgrade would escape the consequences. Terrorism and extremism on all sides will have found a footing in the balkans - the consequnces would be mind numbing.

The region needed 'storm' to redress the balance of power and bring the antagonists to sign Dayton - and give all sides a 'victory'. Like it or not - that is the reality.

Yes there were Serbian victims in the wars of the former YU, to deny that is to deny an unmitigated truth - but make no mistake , you were the last victims - not the first.

Its obvious the Croatians are a proud bunch for ethnic cleansing this region of the Serbian populations and murdering the elderly who decided to stay in their homes. Although no one is innocent in this war and all have committed atrocities in the former Yugoslavia, this celebration is in poor taste. How can a Catholic priest even be part of such celebrations when it is obvious this was one of the largest war crimes in modern history, in fact genocidal. So Croatians like your forefathers during WW2 go out and be proud, but inside you know who and what you are.

I forgot to make the obvious comment:

Brussels is to give Croatia the green light to join the EU. In the meantime Croatia celebrate the biggest ethnic cleansing in Europe since world war two. I wonder if Brussels or even Croatia's masters (Jermany) took in to considerations 'Good Neighborly Relations'? Nope, it only applies to the Serbs of course. Tadic's fate is hanging by a thread and the Balkans Stability Pact is hanging by a thread. Whats the bet that Tadic will turn a blind eye to German, Austrian and American NATO crushing those who won't remove their barricades? Without doubt, the sh*% will hit the fan sooner rather than later.=

Is Kosor still living in that down town Zagreb flat that the HVO stole, sorry 'expropriated from two serb brothers and was then handed over to the government?' As I wrote in the previous news piece on 'Storm', the Croats attacked the serbs long before they rebelled, as anyone who knows 'non-pure'croats who live there know. Non-croatians still have to be very careful of what they say in public in 'free' and 'democratic' Cronazia.

I'll repeat a story that took place not long after Oluja. On a train travelling south from Zagreb rolls its way in to Krajina, in one carriage are diaspora croats who have come for a holiday to 'reconnect' with their past, and also some native croats. As the train comes towards Knin, the diaspora croats remark at all the damage caused by the serbs. The native croats point out to them that it was done by the HVO.

And after all that there are so few croats who have moved or want to live in Krajina.

Apparently, Croat officials unveiled a V-shaped monument in the centre of Knin to commemorate their ethic cleansing campaign. I suppose a U-shaped structure would have been too obvious.

Croatian fascism stretches from Ante Starcevic in the last 19th century,to the leader of the Nazi puppet state Croatia Ante Pavelic to Franjo Tudjman !
They all followed fascist policies to ethnically cleanse and kill Serbs and our stupid Belgrade elites let it happen!
One wise decision in 1918 and Daamatia,Slavonia and Bosnia would be Western Serbia today with no Croats!
Two times (WW1 and WW2) they started killing our people and two time they lost and we didnt punish them,it is as if Russias army trashed the Nazis on the battlefield, reached Berlin and said:"Well,we have respect for Hitler and we will let him continue to rule Germany even though we can dispose him now!"

Just imagine Serbs celebrating on 11 of July, the "liberation" day of Srebrenica, this only shows what sick people the Croats are!

Let's be realistic here. 230,000 soldiers yeah right? The soldiers on the ground were not only Croatian and Bosnian muslim but also NATO soldiers. You also had air support from NATO. You know in your heart you could never defeat any Serb without massive help from the EU and NATO (The West). Just look waht happened to you in Vukovar. Serbia smashed you in 87 days. Oh yeah, even your wounded soldiers were finished off in the hospital. LOL. Once a Nazi Colloborator always a Nazi.

Serbia is a speck on this globe and most could not care less about the Balkans let alone Serbia. It's funny how so many talk it up in the English comments section but when reading comments in the Srpski section I notice intelligence. Comments from the diaspora?....I think so. Like I said whinging hypocrites.

"Every country celebrates something another country disagrees with..."
