Let clear certain issues.
Kosovo's Albanians are MINORITY in Serbia, not majority.
Kosovo was never able to support itself, without mostly serbian subsidies .
They are obviously unable to govern themselves. (Need Nato soldiers to help control the mob)
Independent Kosovo would probably join Albania. ( They call themselves Albanians, not Kosovars)
Current serbian government is european beggar, clearly following Western, anti-serbian interests.
My modest views:
Kosovo Serbs are alone and must help themselves. Do not give an inch. Allowing western soldiers to
control border traffic with Serbia 'till September,2011. is a mistake. They always take and keep,
never relinquish anything, especially to Serbs.
What EU membership entails? Like in Greece, balanced budget is a given. It will bring substantial, (massive?)
unemployment, possible inflation, and EU control of serbian national economy; and hostile Germany dominates EU economy !
EU membership means survival of current, immoral Belgrade government.
Corruption is ubiquitous in Serbia.
In summer of 2009, Belgrade police stopped me twice in my rental car, trying to rip me off. Just a dumb
foreign tourist? I knew how to respond to this extortion attempt. Most tourists would not.
Bad news for serbian tourism! Bad news all around under present ruling mob.
Hope this helps.
Good luck my wonderful serbian friends.

Once asked why Russian support for Serbia is so limited FM Lavrov said “ We cannot be bigger Serbs than the Serbs themselves”. With this comprador government Russia can have only restricted cooperation. But Toma is a Big Serb and if elected Serbia can quite enjoy much bigger economical political and military support required. Almost automatically it will mean China’s support as well as the support of the Islamic World. This is what Serbia’s rivals fear of and the poor comments I’m going to have here will be the best proof of it.

This Chamberlaining Serbian Government will do nothing for the Serbians in Kosovo.
The Serbians in Kosovo should prepere an organised leaving of Kosovo, because Albania will come for Kosovo at the comensing of the War in the Middle east,
and no Serbians in Kosovo would be spared.

This government has been working in the interests of the European Union and American diplomacy. They were obedient and other foreign interests, and for their own people are worried as they do not exist! For this reason, and will get very few votes of confidence from the citizens, who until recently voted for them.

My fellow Serbs,

Progressive party is likely to be a next government in Serbia. It has more and more supporters every day. The reason for that is catastrophic politic of the Democratic party. We have more and more unemployment, more pyre people, less pay and Kosovo and Metohia situation is not getting better at all. Only party in Serbia that is capable to win Democrats is Serbian progressive party, because of that we must give support to Progressives.

Of course it did nothing! Any interest in this government and its work in relation to the Serbs in Kosovo ended on mere promises of no more that they do not believe!
Unlike the government, Tomislav Nikolic and his party have shown political maturity! The daily amount of the project for economic development, agriculture, health and other sectors that have collapsed as the government! We also agree with his stance that Serbia has to go to the EU only with Kosovo as its territory, and what it is!

What does he want them to do, retake Prishtina by force? Come on, Tomo, I thought you were a bit more pragmatic than that.

He is just an attention seeking whore. The Serbian opposition is uninspiring and lacks any real substance to it. The SNS since breaking away from the Radicals are largely neutralised and have policies (that's if they have any) similar to the DS, i.e. grandstanding populism. The Radicals are completley toxic and with their leader in the Hague, they have a whiff of batshit crazyness about them. Voja, the Colombo lookalike is yesterdays man and the DSS are a spent force. That leaves Mr. 147%. Less said about him, the better.

On the government benches, the only party that could come out of it with any face, the Socialists need to do some evaluation and soul searching. Serbia needs a viable and credible left wing opposition and Dacic appears to have steadied the ship somewhat. However the Socialists need to set out their stall for the upcoming election and distance themselves from the DS or risk getting tainted.

I actually think Serbia has not done much for it's people in Serbia. I suggest that be the focus and not Kosova. When Serbs in Serbia have jobs, mOney in the bank , can afford to travel and vacations they will forget about KOsova.

Lack of economic stability started the Yugoslav disintegration and the opposite can fix all of Serbias problems including Kosova. Kosova is not Serbias so no need to worry about it

"Economically and socially, Serbia cannot survive outside of the EU, but it also cannot survive without Kosovo," he explained.

I think you are due for another phony hunger strike.

And neither would he if he becomes president. The western powers have successfully cemented their imposed choice, Tadic(swiili) and his quisling regime and neutralized any meaningful and real opposition for a foreseeable future. The future of Serbia as a nation with it´s culture, history and traditions lies in the hands of of the people. In northern Kosovo as well as in Serbia proper. If the Egyptians can throw a US/israeli stooge and dictator out of office, so can we, it´s called Democracy.
