PM Cvetković, unless you have been in a coma for last twelve years, you should know that KFOR, NATO and other agencies operating in Kosovo have not been and are not going to be neutral when it comes to territorial integrity or security in Kosovo. May I remind you also that they are not a peaceful missionaries dressed in green or blue, but highly trained army personnel.

Just over twelve years ago NATO bombed the hell out of your country until Yugoslav army surrounded itself and signed a peace declaration on behalf of your ex-government, in Macedonia. Your archive office should have a copy of that, but in case you cannot find one I am certain NATO, KFOR, UN or Government Kosovo in Prishtina (not in exile) can provide you with a copy, and should like to see the original please arrange a meeting with their offices and they should accommodate you.

As of June 10, 1999 NATO officially has occupied the territory of Kosovo, and since that day there has been no Yugoslav army personnel operating in Kosovo. If you haven't been told yet, no Serbian army personnel can be closer than 5km of borders of Kosovo, without prior agreement with NATO, KFOR.

If Serbia wants Russia to build a base it has to be 5km away from border with Kosovo nearest point.
This will be best think ever happened to Kosovo, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Rumania, Croatia, Montenegro and Bosnia. As EU/USA NATO will pure in funds military and economic so much that it will feel like 1954 Marshall plan all over again.

In fact, Thaci uses exactly the same method Milosevic did: Sending special police, causing tension, removing persons from other ethnicity from public jobs (customs here).

How stupid can the Serbian leaders be? Status neutral works in favor of the reality on the ground. Kfor is already acting in a status neutral way. It is not doing anything to change the order of things on the ground, in this case the Albs at the 2 border posts in question. Status neutral worked in favor of the Serbs when they had control of the border posts. Now status neutral favors the pristina govt re the border posts. Serb position of asking for a return of control as it was prior to July 25 and asking Kfor to be status neutral is mutually exclusive. Kfor didn't remove the Serbs from the border posts (as far as I know), nor will they now remove the KAlbs. I won't pretend that Kfor didn't know the KAlbs weren't going tonsend a unit to NKosovo. They probably did, but cannot acknowledge it for fear of appearing non status neutral. Everyone knows kfor/NATO is not status neutral, but continuing to claim that they are gives Tadic the cover he needs.
EU at all costs, will only defend Kosovo diplomatically - that's Serbia's position. And Tadic has made that clear over and over When you play with your cards open, you're much easier to get beat.
