'Arbitration'? Impossible as albanians don't understand the concept as the also don't understand the concept of 'negotiations'. That's why they need westerners to do it for them.

After the period expires, Serbia will have the right to initiate an international arbitration to seek compensation or damages, Ćirić said.

Ćirić said that Serbian products now cannot be delivered to northern Kosovo, and Kosovo and Metohija in general, adding that "we annually deliver about 350 million of worth of our products to the territory of Kosovo and Metohija, our southern province."

This is a paradox here... If Kosovo is Serbia's southern province, how comes INTERNATIONAL arbitration is needed ?!!!

"Their (UNMIK's) idea is that the issue of recognizing, or of not recognizing, the customs stamps should be dealt with within CEFTA mechanisms"

In other words UNMIK is saying: "don't bug us, we don't want to get involved in your quarrels". Can't blame them, there are only 16 employees left at UNMIK. Barely enough for a soccer team.

My biggest surprise in all this is how quiet Jeremic has been all these days. Usually he is always talking and talking and talking. Now, he just made a short appearance at the UN and hasn't been heard since. What is going on there?Who shut him up? Staff, if you're reading this, what do your internal diplomatic sources say about Jeremic? We need your inside info on this.

why asking foreigners? if someone tries to approach serbian citizens with force, the serb state should react accordingly. although the criminal warlords in Pristina have made a quite stupid mistake with that move... Serbia should not stand by and only talk.

the US who are very likely behind all this k-albanian troublemaking should be confronted with some real reaction, not only empty words from the Tadic-regime. it´s really time for Serbia to wake up! ...but the next elections will come, just a question of time.

Even those remaining Serbian products in Kosova are being taken off shelves and put on fire. Already they're replaced with products mostly from Albania. Most importantly is the fact that Kosovars aren't interested in Serbian products anymore(even for free they won't take it). I got bad news for you mr Nebojsha Ciric, you aren't going anywhere with intl arbitration because Kosova answered Serbia with a same ban. Tit for Tat. Maybe you should try and sell your stuff to other countries, forget Kosova once and for all.

'That's all well but the fact is that people in Kos will not want to buy anything made in Srb. So, whether there is a trade blockade or not, Srb products are not selling in Kos shops. I am afraid, Srb has lost this lucrative market for good. '

SiriusBlack - since when? What changed? We can kill you or not allow your goods for two years but you will buy our goods, but since a top down government / media campaign against Serbian goods thats the end?

Its complete rubbish that frankly I thought you had more intelligence to believe. Unless every Kosovo Albanian will be followed around by nationalistic peers pressuring them or politicians, if Serbian goods are available, they will be bought as they were previously.

However, if the situation goes on for a longer period of time (not a few days) then when Serbian goods return they won't take as much of the market. On the other hand Serb consumers in Kosovo will be more loyal to Serbian goods.

Economy Ministry had had a meeting with representatives of UNMIK Kosovo, which was also attended by representatives of the Finance Ministry, the Foreign Ministry and the Ministry for Kosovo and Metohija.

"representatives of UNMIK Kosovo', and who is that? Please , can you explain to all of us who did you meet with, or is it aliens from Mars?

We forget 350mn tax it at 1.5% is a whole lot`s of money that albanian government in kosovo will not have this month..oh stupid me-thaci can get that with heroin sales in one week..
But most important thing is-who cares if albanians will not buy Serbian product-just let Serbian population have it..so we are not afraid that albanians would try poisoning them with what ever they bring..we know they tried everything else, and we are afraid this will be another way of dispicables to get rid of Serbian people in kosovo.

"Ćirić said the recent events in northern Kosovo evidently proved that the embargo on goods coming from central Serbia was a politically-motivated decision, rather than an economically-motivated one, recalling that the Serbian government took the stand that it was a flagrant violation of the CEFTA agreement. "

Another clown that talks from his a...
What about Serbia bllocking all Kosova's imports with Kosova's stamps?
Isn't it a political decision?

Since they can sue for damages and compensation through arbitration and Serbia considers Kosovo its southern province, I guess Serbia will have to belly up any monies owed to themselves. To do otherwise is to admit Kosovo is not Serbia!
Of course the fact that Serbia is doing the dog and pony show in front of every international organization trying to get "them" to act pretty much says it all to start with.

Send this guy to get a proper training on WTO, CEFTA and other similar agreeents. After that he will learn, who should be claimed for breaching trade agreement. Serbia or Kosovo. But, as many other international claims of Serbia made by this desoriented goverment will finish in a fiasko and probably Serbia will even pay damages made to Kosovo economy.
