Mr Tadic ,you are wrong. You only follow orders to make easier for Serbia to enter EU negotiations - but look at EU countries like Greece ,Ireland and Portugal - is this how you want Serbia to be like?? Economically dependant on the West (who will bleed the country dry of money if they want to)? Also Albanians do not want peace ,they provoke because they have America who will help them to get "Greater Albania"!! This is not only Serbia's problem ,if Kosovo becomes recognised then there will be referendum to join and annex to Albania ... then problems will happen in FYROM ,Greece and Bosnia until "all Albanian people united in one big Albania" - remember Hitler "lebensraum"?? We have to act now ,war is only way. A new Balkan war is needed now because the results from 1999 are not settled

I have served as a volunteer in a few conflicts and I know what I speak of with regards to "Greater Albania" ,this cannot possibly be falsified by you who live in ignorant bliss in the UK ,do not pretend to understand the Balkans - it is you (NATO) that have caused all the mess with the pariah states that cause ethnic tensions.

Peace is a two way street. If the other side doesn't want it what are you going to do?

Mr Tadic Serbia has only become a so called country of peace because you can't 'WIN' a war..Serbia's neighbours are getting stronger and should not be taken lightly. Northern Kosovo will eventually integrate into Pristina's control just like Vukovar did back to Croatian control. Serbia can't dictate the rule of law on another countries territory. The majority of Serbs know that if Serbia doesn't officially recognise Kosovo as an independent state it will go no where, it will be worse off than Bulgaria....Grow up and tow the line!

Tadic the Wise! We've been through many wars the last decade with negative consequences. I reckon that we were overconfident because we thought we were strong with Yugoslav-era memories but the reality was most of the equipment including anti-air defenses were just plain outdated by the 90s.

At least Tadic has seen a parallel with starting a war when one country's economy and military is still too weak to stave off bullies... don't start more wars and seek a diplomatic solutions to 95% of the problems in the Balkans is the best solution to our problems presently.

When our economy actually stands a candle to Turkey or Greece then we can start playing power politics with a revitalised military. Until then, it's quiet politics which is the smartest course for Serbia, we won't always get our way this method but it's the smartest.

Tadic has been shown to be inept and on the pay list of the US and their cronies, but what is even clearer as Tadic sat in Parliament his standing and any positive political gain he has made as a result of selling out anyone and everyone for entry to the EU sank quicker than a stone in a stream.

I watched him and saw a man that knew the disaster happening around him, much like a train crash in slow motion. His political career was in taters and the only reason the resolution was passed was on the basis on unity not because of substance.

Tadic spoke of the dangers of this situation escalating beyond the current limits, but it was not because he was concerned for the people but because his concern was about his political career. He was being pushed into this situation by the events on the ground.

If this situation continues then even Tadic cannot stop “volunteers” from joining the fight in Kosovo and I can guarantee that the US does not want another mess on their hands. For those Albanians that think this is an idle statement and that NATO will do this or that – watch and learn boys just watch and learn. NATO/KFOR or another kind of FOR in Kosovo will walk a thousand miles rather than start another conflict they cannot control

Result = STATUS QUO; 12 years and still going very strong.

For one they saved a lot of lives. If it wasn't for them organising resistance many more would've been slaughtered.
